It's my new favorite, actually. Right with my 64IND. Very much reminiscent of a linen shirt, but obviously thicker

I need more time to play with outfits, in order to figure out "does this work for me?". Another great vest, untucked!! Dig the boots too.

@untucked I'm not a vest guy at all but other than that vest I think that outfit looks killer

Im loving the vest and I think it looks very good but with leather there is always some people who thinks its crazy so I would say dont wear it to places where preconceptions could make you look bad....like a job interview unless its fashion.

How will anyone be able to tell your wearing a $350 shirt ?! That was exactly what I was going to say. Is there any other purpose to that thing?

Anybody who knows that an IH shirt costs that much will know anyway. Everybody else I'll just take them to one side and explain it to them.

My fiancé: Why do you spend so much on IH clothes? You want to look rich?
Me: Nobody thinks I look rich! Lmao! If I wanted to "look rich" I would be wearing suits every day.
Fiancé: YEAH! WEAR SUITS EVERYDAY!!!!!
Me: You missed my point.....

I saw a documentary with Nick Cave where he apparently wore suits as an everyday clothing....I thought it looked kick ass! I never liked suits myself before but nowdays they can look pretty good with the slim fit, shorter and not as wide collar.

Many of you have "been there, done that" in regards to a lot of Iron Heart stuff. Well, I caved and finally got my first ever item from Iron Heart. Just got the IHSH-126 flannel in purple from Self Edge. The shirt is awesome, I can see it breaking in very well down the road. May have to get one or two every year now....

I keep looking for an excuse to buy one but haven't quite gotten there yet. At the end of the day, IMO, thats a fantastic fabric and I'll probably be bummed once they all sell out and I never see one for sale in my size.

I have no problem dropping well over two hundred for jeans, simply because they are more versatile and I can wear them more often. I finally decided to get this since I missed out on the previous purple flannels by them, and wanted this color and a similar pattern for about a year. After selling an item, I didn't feel so bad about buying it.

Don't wait too long; I think the Ultra-heavy flannels are going to be few and far between from now on. Something to do with the scarcity of the wild Peruvian cotton they use for them. They're certainly not doing 9-10 of them a year..

Hi all just did a cold soak to my IH and after a hang dry they developed these vertical fold lines on both legs. Will it go away with wear ? Worth hitting it with a quick iron I vaguely remember having Levi's develop this sometimes and they never went away... i.imgur.com/1juCozn.jpgi.imgur.com/yLVkZB8.jpg

They're certainly not doing 9-10 of them a year.. That would be smart on their part. There is a great market for UHFs, but I don't think the average joe would buy as many as they put out last year. I've got three, and might be tempted to pick up another, but am holding out for something special, instead of another color of buffalo check, or samo samo. I also noticed that Selfedge has most of their stock still around, with most sizes, which tells me the market might be a little saturated. Hopefully, they will have some of them reduced in a few months when it warms up.
