bummer...oh well it's just a shirt but damn I've been jonesin for a heavy flannel for too long now. SE does have the sexual chocolate in my size though.... DigDug, you happy with that one? SE has the 107 in black size XXL. I'm sure with an aggressive hot wash and dry you would fit fine.

but according to Iron Hearts fit guide I would need an XL I made a post on the iron heart forum in the 107 thread. Everyone has basically said follow the iron heart UK size chart and not self edge. good read. Thats correct. They have their own way of sizing so they want you to follow what they do when measuring . The key thing when buying from brands and then stores who stock the brands items is to check how they measure. This is why you see the brand saying the PTP measures 24 but a store says it measures 22.5 or whatever it is. With jeans some brands measure the waist with the top button drooped below the back waist band and some will pull it even so the front and back waist band is aligned and then IH for instance will do it with the hip portion of the jeans touching. These will all give you a totally different measurement

So I sent my XL IH herringbone flannel back to SelfEdge last week to exchange for an XXL. They had three XXL left in stock so I contacted SE CS regarding my exchange to ask them what I should do to make sure there will be an XXL available for me as there's only 3 left. I asked if they could hold one for me, if I should just buy the XXL, etc...They assured me there was no need to worry because there's 3 left and there will be one available when they receive my return and issue me a store credit. well, guess what...they're all sold out and they haven't issued my credit yet. I contacted them and still haven't heard back from them. Not a good first experience with SelfEdge. Poor CS IMO. They should have put a hold one it for you and made you a happy customer, rather than worrying about losing a sale in the future. Sucks you didn't take that as a red flag, and just buy it then and there, and adjust everything afterwords.

thanks brentkuz, I just hope the dang thing fits. From what others have said aggressively washing and drying can shrink it if needed. Also I agree kinda poor CS from SE.

Thinking about getting the ihsh-62 in indigo what say you? Also thinking about th 33 in either indigo or black. Input? Brent, I have 33 in Black and 62 in Indigo. The black 33 is just a killer shirt; v. solid & beautifully produced. It arrives feeling heavy, tough etc but after wear & a few heavy sweats & subsequent washes, it just softens & feels brilliant on. This shirt will last a LONG time and will just continue to improve. 10 outta 10 imo. The blue 62 - another killer. Only bought it after DidDug started posting about his great fondness for it, lol. The redoubtable DigDug infected me w/ his lust for 62! lol. Another formidable & substantial shirt. It exemplifies IH's prowess in the saturation of its dyes. Man, this fabric is INDIGO!!! Slow to fade but, in saying that, many (me included) feel that it may be THE BEST shirt for fades. When 62 is aged & evo-ed it is difficult to imagine a more attractive shirt. But further yet (!)...I feel too, like many others, that before it starts to fade a little, the rich, deep indigo wabash looks almost regal, kind of "costumey". When I wear it I get HEAPS of poz comments...folks really dig it but I still feel a bit "loud", a little noisy or something. Anyhow, LOVE the 62 but I'll ADORE it when it ages a bit more.

highlights - awesome man. I am happy about the 62 in indigo. Can't wait to get the 33 in black and hopefully a 107 during this sale. My girlfriend is already sick of me. Called my love for clothing pathetic today. I told her no spending first 6 months of 2015 at least.

I like it,a lot! (not sure yet if I love it, yet). Its a great shirt but its pricy (and I got mine a bit cheeper at $210) so there's a lot expected. The chocolate I'd say is more subdued then the indigo (haven't seen the indigo IRL). But mine isn't in your face. Good construction, arm holes are tight and high (wish they were a bit bigger, think that's why I don't love it), can only wear a tshirt under, no waffle thermal. I like the fabric as aposed to a fannel or denim as I think I can wear it year round (cool summer nites maybe). So if I was only to spend the money on one IH this is it. I'd recommend it to someone who has the coin. But if not I'm expecting LD to bring something better as far as value.

As I said, I have the blue version, and yes, I also find the armholes a little high/tight so I manually stretch the armholes b4 wearing & this helps a bit. But, yeah, such a nice shirt overall...curiously, I also found (on my "sexual blue" ) that the collar was very large. All my other IH shirts have great collars (except the 10oz single yoke blue chambray - which also had the large collar). Not sure why IH strayed from their standard collars on those particular models. I wondered if the 'workshirt' versions of those same shirts (I buy the western versions) had the same big collars (?) Dig, does the collar on the "sexual brown" look large?

Anyone got a line on any heavyweight with snaps IH shirts via Rakuten? I've combed the "global" site as well as the .jp site, found many stores that have them listed but out of stock.
I've been hitting so.e major deals the last few weeks. The heavyweight IH flannel in XL is eluding me.
No disrespect to the North American and European outlets but right now I can't wrap my head around a 400 dollar flannel. 200....yup.

Ickes, that's what I've fund as well. I guess I'll wait for the next seasons run.
That shirt is pretty cool and I LOVE the color. It's so funny, my older brothers (12 and 14 years older) had that exact configuration of "shirtjac" in the '70s, they are still in my parents closet. RIght down to the quilted lining. Much more "plain" quality, not cheap, just old school.
I like it. I think I like the heavies with snaps better though and from one dude to another who's spent a lot of time in PHX, you might not use the quilted/lined one as much. If that credit is burning a hole in your pocket though, go for it. It's a great shirt.

Totally wanted one until Dirty_Denim went and posted the one that Lawless is releasing that I may actually be able to afford. Won't be flannel though, so I fully support your consideration of it.

ickes, I agree w/ you & the guys, a great shirt. When I'm 'on the fence' about a purchase - particularly a big ticket buy - my consideration's "Do I LOVE it?" I wanna feel 98-100% "yep, REALLY LOVE it"...lol, sorry this prob won't help much!!
