I've long kept mine folded up in stacks but am starting to think that hanging them might be the way to go. Has anyone found any tricks for conserving space or have strong opinions on hang vs. fold?

I was doing the fold initially, but started to see the fade/crease down the sides and migrated to the shower curtain hanger trick (grab a pack of shower curtain "S" curve hangers and I'm hanging my denim from one of the belt loops.

I'm using cheaper caribiners to put through the belt loops and hang from a rack in my office. |

hang them from belt loops on whatever hook is free at the moment in my closet, usually drape the pair i wore that day over a chair in the bedroom.

I only have a few pairs of selvedge so I hang them from the belt I usually leave in or a belt loop on a hook on the back of the bedroom door. Will have to use some of your other methods as I get more.

i'm reviving this thead because I'm debating on folding vs hanging. i've got about 6 pairs of unworn denim that are folded and sitting in my closet. i'm worried that i'll get the fade crease, as matt mentioned, but don't know if this happens with all denim or not. should I switch to hanging my unworn jeans?

I bought a bunch of cheap metal shower S hooks and hang them from the middle belt loops.
It's easier for me to pick out what pair I want due to my indexing system, and you get to the point where you can tell which pair is what by handfeel in the dark.
I also like to think it allows some air to flow through them. This also works for me because I have the closet space to do it.
