I have this CXL one from my friend at One Star Leather Goods, not the untanned one on the bottom but the one next to it. Twenty-five bones, and it does the job.

I've got a black one like that from Tanner. Love it (and my Tanner belt) but was kinda tied to using a black belt with it so I switched over to an s-biner recently. Been looking a lot at the Apolis Transit keychains....

I like how the tanner one has the leather loop to help keep it secure around your belt.
Do you guys feel like the stud/button hole closure is secure?

I've never had any problems with it and I bike daily so it gets put through more than the normal paces.

I was wondering about the stud/button hole closure also. I have the Gustin CXL version, and have grown fond of it. Never been a key chain guy before. I also like the Gs longer length, as it fits well in my pocket, and doesn't sit on the bottom. I also like the brass clip to fasten on the belt loop, as I don't always wear a belt.

i've used a tec p7 suspension clip for about a year and like it quite a bit just last week i ordered a veg tan leather key hanger from stevekas and received it yesterday. i like it so far, my only real critique is that it's tad long, but once it's broken in and patina'd up a bit i think it'll be great.

Notice the Gustin jeans in his etsy post for that keychain? I like that keychain a lot. It's a great price and doesn't worry me like the stud/button-hole closure.

I use this belt loop for my wallet lanyard. Not necessarily made for wallets but it is heavy duty as you have have to slide it onto your belt. I see they don't have it listed seperately in the site. I purchased it at our Renaissance festival. I just sent a message telling them they should list it seperately. The flasks, pouches and belts they sell are cool also. renleather

My wife was looking at my Gustin key chain, and mentioned she might use one. If so, I will hit Steve up to make me one.

I like the stuff that onestar does. I'd don't own anything, but have admired stuff on his site.
I took the plunge on the Craft and Lore keychain. Despite my concern of the stud/buttonhole, I like the clip by far the best. I plan to put it on my belt and have my keys in my pocket. So I don't think the buttonhole closure will be an issue.

I never unfasten mine - just slip it onto the belt, so there really is no concern with that fastener loosening up with use. I'm sure you'll be good to go once you have it.

I have an idea you may be interested in (a free, no hassle idea). Also, for what it's worth, if anyone from this board ever wants to hit me up for something not currently in the store, please do. Drop me a note here or at the shop. We are still in the very early stages of selecting designs from things I've made in the past and have tested. David hit me up for an altered version of the standard english brown keychain and I was happy to oblige. People telling me what they want vs what I'm offering is priceless info. OK, self pimping over and done.

Not sure if there are other locations? Anyway, cool shop, cool products and the vintage stuff was awesome when I was in there.
