hi
just joined, was advised this was a cool forum via reddit's /r/rawdenim
I'm a fan of denim, London based, none of my friends are into this. thought it'd be cool to shoot the breeze with fellow enthusiasts
currently, Flat Head jeans & Iron Heart shirts are my thing

Newb here. Denimhead from Anaheim. Been observing from afar as a guest. Been really trying to find the "next great denim" and may let myself get persuaded to try some different brands beyond my usual IH.

But just received a pair from Ciano Farmer, Very impressed. But buyer beware. There a fairly new upstart but seem like stand up guys.

Thanks all. I'll check out Ciano a little further - it looks like he's getting some sweet fabrics.

Hey new here I have been lurking around for some time here due to the lawless denim shit. And am becoming more interested in the different denim company's. I'm leaning towards purchasing some Gustins any advise I'm new to this whole denim scene now I just rock Luckys and seven jeans. Thanks

Hey new here I have been lurking around for some time here due to the lawless denim shit. And am becoming more interested in the different denim company's. I'm leaning towards purchasing some Gustins any advise I'm new to this whole denim scene now I just rock Luckys and seven jeans. Thanks Welcome, the whole Raw Denim "hobby" can become very addiction . There are a couple of different schools of thought. 1- buy a less expensive pair ($80 or so), so you can learn what you like and don't (fabric style, hardwear, sizing, care) 2- Go Big, truely buy your Grail pair. The one and only pair you will wear for the next 2+ years. I like option 1. The problem is from who? At the $80 price, your gonna have to wait. Like Gustin crowd sourced). You could check the For Sale Thread. There's some good stuff over there. And you should get exact measurements on the pair. One other thing. Learn how to Measure!!! These are not vanity sized and every supplyer may use a different method. Ask questions! We like it.

Welcome tessie and enjoy the ride. It may be best to lock your wallet in a safe and forget the combination.

Hi. I just joined. I bought my first pair of selvedge denim from Brave Star and I'm hooked. I'm looking to get a pair of Naked & Famous, but I have some questions about the weird guy fit. I'm changing my style up and I look forward to sharing ideas with everyone.

Welcome tessie and gochargersgoTessie there are quite a few great mid priced selvedge denims around. As mentioned sizeing is very important. Read about proper way to measure. Check out the for-sale board quite a few deals on there. Gochargersgo post any questions on the Naked and Famous board. A great mid-priced selvedge itself.

Hi all. Another denimhead addict checking in from the US. I'm still a little new to the denim scene, but learning about the brands over the past year or two.
Big fan of RRL and the vintage workwear look. But the prices have made me look elsewhere for the workwear pieces, which brought me here searching for fellow denimheads.

Plenty of vintage heritage brands to choose from. Japanese and american. Looks around and ask questions.
