Getting that "just right" tee shirt seems like it can be as much a rabbit hole as denim. Though hopefully less expensive. |

Big fan of GAP for cost and what you get.
I also like Polo, I know you have the horse which some guys hate. But cut and fabric for me are good with polo. Plus some of the shirts have the horse on the bottom of the hem and it's not really visible.

I got 1 grey polo t and its probably the best fitting one I have. Got it from one of the biggest videogamestores here wich is kinda funny. If they get more with same saleprice ill get more!

Do you know if their size charts are pretty accurate? I actually don't know as I've never bothered measuring them. None of their shirts are pre-shrunk and will shrink 5-7% after being washed/dried. i wear a size large for most brands but with Royal I size up to an xl. The hemp shirts I bought were a mixed bag size wise but very soft and comfortable like their bamboo tees. I bought 2 size large and 2 xl's. One of the larges shrunk to a medium as I expected but the other large was cut a little bigger and it actually fits like a large. The xl's experienced a little shrinkage but not much. I'm going to give them a couple more washes to see if they'll shrink any further. I would contact them and ask about their size chart. The reason I never use size charts for tees is that if I know a shirt is made with ring spun cotton I know it'll shrink a full size. This has been my experience with other tee brands |

I picked up some white heavyweight ringspun tees at Costco. Kirkland signature brand.
They are pretty long. $18 for 6

Without dredging through to see what I said before, or if I said anything at all, I'll say as of RIGHT NOW my 3 favorites are (In order)
IHT-1600 (Damn good, but pricey, for sure)
Gustin (So buttery soft while having a great fit, AND reasonably priced)
UNIQLO (Absolute best for me, considering price and fit)
Also, I know many guys don't wear t-shirts as a style piece or outer layer, so that would DEFINITELY get rid of the 1600's from their choices.

This will be no good for many of you, but for anyone bigger/taller, you should check out Foundry Big and Tall Supply Co at JCPenney.
I know what I said about Kohl's, but I buy all my plain t shirts and many OCBDs in large/XL tall from Foundry/JCPenney and they are excellent for me, especially given the price. I have worn their t's for about 2.5 years now and they have held up very well.
They also must work for others built like me (6'3" 225 muscular) as the large tall pretty much sold out in every t shirt color recently in the cyber week sale. You can snag these for less than $10 on sale often.
JCPenney > Kohl's

Foundry also makes a nice plain polo shirt for anyone that wears those casually and looking for an affordable tall option.

I like to wear stylish and trendy polo t-shirts as they are very comfy to me. Couple of days back my friend purchased Carbon 38 workout clothes and very happy to use them. She recommended me too. Planning to buy few quality ones for myself too. |

In a cold machine wash and hang dry I don't recall them shrinking at all. I believe I went with the Large but I'll double check when I get home. |
