It's pretty silly and arbitrary. The punishment certainly does not fit the 'crime' and I'm very much not a Pats or Brady fan. I really hope he appeals and someone overrules Goodell.

With all this poorly managed LD talk going on, it seems that Roman couldn't hold a candle to Roger Goodell. What a never ending train wreck of a commissioner. How does it make sense for him to preside over Tom Brady's appeal process when he was directly involved with the punishment.

The problem is the union gave away rights to an independent arbitrator during collective bargaining. there's a lot of things they've given away that really should be addressed at some point. It seems to me that the professional athlete unions (in the USA) end up caving to owners too quickly because their membership is dependent on paychecks and when they are striking or locked out - no paychecks.

Enough clothing talk. Football in 30 minutes! Patriots over Steelers 35-31. Ain't no way Buffalo Bill is going to be calling in field goals and punts on 4th down.

I'm going 31-24 Steelers. I think that Pitt offense is gonna be something else this season, and that this year marks the decline of Brady.

I think the Steelers offense will do great things this season as well. But that's predicated on them getting both Leveon Bell and Martavis Bryant back from suspensions.

No doubt they'll be better off when those two come back. I think they have enough tonight with Brown, Williams and Wheaton, plus their D, to take down the Pats.

I don't have much faith in DeAngelo Williams (minus their Pro Bowl center for half the season) and Marcus Wheaton, who's been pretty average the past few seasons. But maybe I'm wrong.

Go Pats.
Little worried about the line and running game. Defensive box I like...secondary has to prove itself.
It's kick off bye

Missed field goals, dropped passes, letting Gronk open on obvious Gronk red zone passing situations, and that last drive that should have ended in a td, but Bay didn't watch his feet.

Fun game. Glad I didn't have anyone playing in that game so I can just enjoy it. That garbage time td throw to Brown reversed some fortunes however.

BREAKING NEWS!
The I-10 Freeway sniper has been caught in West Phoenix. It will now be safe for everyone to travel to the Cardinals game this weekend. Well your chances of getting shot in west Phoenix are actually still pretty high (bwahaahaa) but at least people can travel on the I-10 now feeling safer.

Yeah I think it lasted just about two weeks. Some reports now are saying it was two people much like the DC sniper(s).

Just like the last AZ snipers....08 or 09? Two guys, started with dogs and went to people. I remember being out on a morning run near 12th street and a person got shot right around there that morning. Didn't know until I got home.
Glad they got at least one of the jackasses.

Wow what a game.
Andy Reid that dummy deserves as much blame as JC does for that fumble. Less than 40 seconds left, why call a running play. Either down it and play to win in OT or run some passing plays to try to win it in regular time.
Nice to see Manning back in form. Still looks a little rusty, but I think he'll be just fine.
