lol...oh come on devastitis ! Really man?? you're not going to join in but you keep calling everyone else out who might be a Broncos fan....Packers fan...lol...come on guy. We have to suspend him for a week if he gurlies out! can I just pick a team? My preseason call was on the Seahawks vs Colts. But Colts flamed out miserably. I'm in if I can get the 'Hawks. |

yeah you never know devastitis . In 08 when the Cards went to the Super Bowl we were 9-7 that year and had to beat the Falcons in the wild card, the Panthers, then the Eagles. Nobody thought we would beat any of those teams...lol..plus we damn near won the Super Bowl. We were beating the Steelers with less than a minute to play in that game. Just like matt said, stranger things have happened. You never know.  Oh, and just like Old26 said, you can't wuss out now!!  That was a great game. I remember the emotional roller coaster of that one. Pretty sure I almost lost my voice on the craziness of that last play before half time. John Madden announced that game too. Good old times Oh and BTW, THAT was the play that won the Super Bowl for the Steelers IMO. If the Cardinals would have scored that TD it would have been 14-10 Cardinals going in to the half....IIRC....and the whole dynamic of the game would have changed. Ok I'll stop dwelling on this now...thanks for bringing that play up yanzer now you've got me going down painful memory lane! |

Hated them the entirety of the Dan Snyder era, and I'm about to forsake the Dolphins because they've been the Skins 2.0 lately. Firing the coach every two or three years, never rebuilding, try to infuse hope with a big name signing or trade valuable picks to move up the draft. |

I'm a firm believer in momentum in sports as well, so I agree with that play completely swinging the outcome of the game as well. I feel ya on memory lane...its been a little while now since then. Harrison was a monster then, so was Fitzgerald. Old man Kurt almost won another that night. |
