OK dudes, since many of us here actually have teams going to the playoffs this weekend, how about a small fun bet? You gotta take the girl you brung here, so we know most of our teams by now. $20 each for whoever's team goes furthest. If we have say 4 guys picking SEA and they win the Bowl, they split it. Is anyone game? We can use paypal and have one person as point (nobody that works/worked for LD). I'd be in for the VIKES! I'm in. I've got the Cardinals.

My local team would be the Redskins, so I'm out hehe. You've got a shot to make it past this weekend. Green Bay is more hype and Aaron Rodgers love than anything else. They can't run the ball and the o-line is not doing Rodgers any favors in the pass protection game. I can't imagine the Redskins going into Arizona or Carolina and shocking the world. Stranger things have happened.

Just heard from my Bro - SEA guy - that Lynch is out. That helps us as the passing game I'd imagine is in jeopardy with a 0º starting temp... Come on Dev - you can't wuss out now!

yeah you never know devastitis . In 08 when the Cards went to the Super Bowl we were 9-7 that year and had to beat the Falcons in the wild card, the Panthers, then the Eagles. Nobody thought we would beat any of those teams...lol..plus we damn near won the Super Bowl. We were beating the Steelers with less than a minute to play in that game. Just like matt said, stranger things have happened. You never know. Oh, and just like Old26 said, you can't wuss out now!!

Pretty sure I almost lost my voice on the craziness of that last play before half time. John Madden announced that game too. Good old times

I'd be totally in on this if it weren't for the small detail that I'm actually a long suffering Dolphins fan, and not a Skins fan =/

Aren't exophobe and @stevekas Broncos fans? I'm one of few that actually admits that Seattle Superbowl, there's no way I'm putting money on this team, even if I like Kubiak better than John Fox. You can all ridicule me when they win.

Good old times Oh you mean that end zone interception that was ran back 100 yards for a TD right at the end of the half? Is that the play you are talking about? Yeah, I think I remember that play. That was a really great game. It's been on several top 10 Super Bowls Ever Played lists, usual ranking in the top 5 of most of those lists IIRC.

I may discuss with the Mrs. She's from Seattle and may be looking for the SB49 rematch (that I'm still not permitted to discuss at home).

His foot still looked hurt to me when he stepped in to the Chargers game, so hopefully the extra week gives that the healing time it needs.
