That was the worst half of football I've seen the Cardinals play this season. Seattle is looking good and I've got a feeling they're going deep in the playoffs this year.

I feel you, as I had to watch the Hawks get beat by the Rams last week. Those two teams just play freaking ugly football together. I'm thinking Seattle might have a chance this year, especially if they get their 1st, and 2nd string running backs available for the playoffs. It should be an interesting post season.

Good lord we are getting spanked by Seattle right now. I know this isn't exactly our most important game of the season but damn, I hope this isn't a sign of things to come for us in the post season. Timing is everything in sports. Peak early and it's ugly... Hoping my Vikes can do better tonight.

Speaking of which...New Enlgland, man...what a time for them to be slumping That was Miami's annual "play really hard at the end of the season to make the team ownership/GM forget how much money you've robbed from them for the prior 16 weeks" game. While it does suck to lose the #1 seed to Denver, I'm not too worried as I don't think Manning can lead the Broncos against whomever heads to Mile-High in the divisional round (Chiefs?). The Pats played conservatively. They'll have some healthy players back too. All that said, I don't bet against Belichick.

They will have some healthy players back, yes, but they are slumping at the end of the season.

Then on draft day, trade away valuable draft picks to move up to the spot they could have had if they lost the meaningless games and actually tried to rebuild through the draft" game. Hate the Dolphins ownership, bunch of morons.

Despite the slump, let's not forget they are 12-4 and have 2 weeks to get healthy and prepare. I think the biggest thing is getting the o-line healthy. The rotation early on was key when injuries struck, but now's the time to have consistency. In the meantime, I'm pumped for some of these wildcard round games.

I don't think it's exactly a sign of things to come, but I wouldn't want to be the team that plays the Seattle train in the playoffs because they've been smashing teams lately. Last week was a strange week and inexplicable for a few teams, Steelers/Panthers/New England, so besides last week, Seattle has been rolling.

I think they lost their first round bye when Denver pulled off the comeback on the Chargers. They're the #2 seed. Cincy is the #3 and hosts Pittsburgh next weekend. New England gets one of the two byes.

As old26 stated it's all about timing and when you get hot (see Seattle) so I just think New England should be a little concerned right now. I mean they gave up over 400 yards against Miami. Wild card games are going to be some good ones and I've got a feeling Pittsburgh is going to be a team to watch out for.

If the Broncos and the Pats make it to the finals, Brady in Denver tends to end with memes of his crying face.

That game went down to the wire. So Vikings have Seattle coming to Minnesota next week. How do you feel about that Old26?

They gave the Seattle/Minnesota match-up the early slot on Sunday. High of 16 in the frozen confines of U of Minnesota field. I'm rooting for snow.

We're rebuilding and young, no matter what, I'm happy with what we got going... And AP got his 3rd rushing title - in spite of some goofiness.

I thought Russell Wilson got better in foul weather. He may. I'm rooting for snow just for a snow playoff game. Wilson played in Wisconsin, so the snow shouldn't impact him. Although it may end up being a battle of running games and defenses if that's the case.

I'm not a huge pro sports fan, more of a fair weather fan, but really enjoyed the Vikings/Packers game last night. I had to replay all the highlights from the second half for my 9 year old boy because he had to go to bed last night. I might see if I can score tickets to this Sunday's game. We went to a Vikings home game last year and it was a lot of fun in the outdoor UofM TCF stadium. Seemed to work fine, not sure why we're having to build a new billion dollar stadium. Dressed as if we were going sliding or ice fishing and we were plenty warm. Here is the Vikings mascot Ragnar with a funny video donning a cheesehead after having money negotiation problems the Vikings.

I know it's easy for me to say, but as a life-long Vikes fan, I hate the idea of domes for them. Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, NE, NY(x2), Pitt, Philly, and more play in nice cold and snowy weather.
Go and youtube some Tarkenton era videos of Met Stadium in Bloomington, MN. THAT was football fellas. Domes are built for the new fancy-pants and those that insist they can only have a Super Bowl with luxury seats and heat. I always loved football as it wasn't the sport that required good weather, but like many things, we've gotten softer and don't like being uncomfortable...

OK dudes, since many of us here actually have teams going to the playoffs this weekend, how about a small fun bet? You gotta take the girl you brung here, so we know most of our teams by now. $20 each for whoever's team goes furthest. If we have say 4 guys picking SEA and they win the Bowl, they split it. Is anyone game? We can use paypal and have one person as point (nobody that works/worked for LD).
I'd be in for the VIKES! Just checked the weather again, high of 3º and low of -6º *not counting wind-chill!!!
