drstrange i'll 2nd that they don't seem extremely breathable. i'll have a better idea later this week when it should be over 90°F i've been wearing my Leon Denim and the weave is pretty dense, so it feels like i'm wearing a burlap sack on my legs. I had to take them off today and put on shorts because it's in the 90's. I would assume that 11oz denim should breathe a little, but 90 degree weather plus humidity might make it pointless

That is easily the best collar I've seen them do. We won't talk about the pattern shoulder to shoulder. Is it the right shoulder rolling over that your talking about? We aren't talking about it. (But yeah, pattern appears to drop about an inch and a half from one side to the other. Aka, the Gustin.)

Stock Store haul! Managed to get it packaged together too which was awesome seeing as it was the third time I've asked for it to happen. Overall thoughts on the Italian Western (can we call that a spaghetti western shirt)? In all seriousness, how do you like the slim fit on the western vs. the other shirts you got?

Spaghetti Western looks promising. Would love to see some non hand wringing shots.

bclark That fabric looks great. I can't tell if it's just the angle but is the pattern not straight along the right side of the shirt (left side of the photo)? The white band starts out fully exposed at the top and then it seems like it disappears under the front placket. Otherwise I would say it looks good. The pocket and collar are aligned/symmetric and the sleeves are not something most people would notice.

no, the placket is at an angle just like all of the others. it has to be a design choice, there's no way they're that consistent. the fabric is sweet. alignment...unfortunately typical. it is pretty awesome that they were finally willing to package items together.

@david So it's the placket side that's at an angle? That's weird. So the buttons must be at an angle too.
I don't think my one G patterned shirt from 2-3 years ago is like this so they must have made a change at some point after that (assuming it's intentional).

I bought the Slim XL. Typically wear a Large but found the Slim XL to fit better on Gustin shirts. I would say the Western shirt is a little more snug compared to Gustin button ups. This western shirt does not resemble the work shirt fit as an FYI.

Thanks, Western looks nice. And nice wear on the 32's.
The Periwinkle is a great example of why Gustin should show sewn samples. The sad little square on the block doesn't look very interesting, but the finished shirt looks nice.

My untrained eyes do not see anything wrong with this shirt.

Not really New Arrivals, but from Tuesday's Plunder! Updated Olive Waxed Trucker Jacket (size Small, fits a little more snug than the Medium I have in Waxed Brown), Olive Chrompack Classic Boot (size 9), Horween CXL#8 (I may be wrong on the color though, but it did match the Horween CXL#8 L1 jacket my brother bought) Dublin Roller Belts (size 34), Horween Dublin Gum Sole High Top (size 9), and #75 Okayama Standards (Slim size 30W) although not the ones worn in this photo. This catch would have been over $1000.00 with tax and shipping! I paid less than half and got a free copper plated bottle opener! Aye, tis good to be a Pirate... Arrrrrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!

It reminds me of the current 3sixteen salmon flannel.

And see how the shirt pulls on the second button tightening on the chest? Thats my issue I've had with G shirts and it drives me nuts. They need to correct that pattern.

Got Zimbabwe workshirt. It's pretty nice. OK so cuff button fell off right away and buttonhole threading started unraveling. Luckily Gustin has influenced me to take up a little sewing and I fixed the issues right away

Got a slim XL Cone Indigo Jacquard. Nice shirt. Fits me uunlike the Classic L shirts. Good dark indigo color.
Was hoping for a lighter weight shirt though. If anyone got a XL slim shirt that they wanna trade for this, lemme know. I'm looking more for sumemr shirts like their summer chambrays.
