exophobe and wdw - how are the Japan Olives after 5 months of living? Are you still feeling favorable? I'm considering pulling the trigger on the offering from Ciano - I think a military green will be a great addition to the collection. And for about $25-30 less with some more custom elements, it may be the unique path to venture. matt, I wear them quite a bit, more than I thought I would. They do seem heavier than 12 or 13oz, more like my 16oz HAs, and the initial starchy stiffness has gone, but they still feel quite substantial. I'm glad I bought them and like them as an alternative to the ubiquitous blue.
Ciano's price and hopefully relatively quick delivery are good, so I'd recommend getting them if you can see yourself wearing green.
How is the fading? Are you seeing lighter elements or more of the dark weft creeping through? I think I'm going to jump on a pair of CF's. I think the green will be ideal in the fall/winter with my boots.

Having said that, of all my coloured jeans, the green is the one I wear the most, so they must have some special quality.

I have a pair of these too and am curious how they'll age. It's hard to tell if they'll look cool or awful a few years from now

I'm guessing that the fade areas would be a lighter olive over time and potentially look cool but could look a little odd as well.

If it stays green, they'll be great. If it fades out to a light yellow in the creases, they could look sick. Literally.
