I fires my bike up today and thought to myself "man can't wait for the 30oz bull denim to come in" 18oz duck in brown should be killer too. Ciano said they should be shipping this week so we shall see. |

I can't enough about how much I love my duck canvas pants. I have the 12 oz and they seem tougher and sturdier than my G canvas(which I also love). I want to get another pair but I'm afraid of what 18oz will be like and 30oz seems like insanity. Maybe I'll get the courage to do 18oz...

I want to get another pair but I'm afraid of what 18oz will be like and 30oz seems like insanity. Maybe I'll get the courage to do 18oz... If you like the 12oz, you'll be amazed at the 18s. They are more robust, with a stiffer hand, like a nicely starched indio denim should be. These can take a beating, and only get softer, in time. Got mine muddy hiking the other day, and cold washed, hang dry, and they stood on their own like a good pant should. |

Ciano is the man.
My order, 18oz brown ducks and 30oz bull denim, were suppose to ship this week. He emailed me Friday saying the ducks weren't done but would be done Saturday for Monday shipping.
Ciano offered to ship them separately but I told him it's fine just to wait and ship together. Pointless to ship two different packages.
Ciano free upgraded to 2day priority mail instead of first class.
My biggest thing was the communication. He doesn't bullcrap. They still aren't even close to being "late".
Can't wait.

How does the order process work? I filled out their order wizard on Sunday afternoon. Am I supposed to get an email with an invoice? How long does that take? I didn't get any email confirmation after going through the config wizard. Is that normal?

You need to wait until Ciano invoices you. Sometimes it can take a day or two, but it'll come.

Received my 18oz brown duck chinos today.
Fabric is amazing duck at 18oz is bullet proof. Thick heavy but not startched at all it feels. This leads to easy wear nsx a great drape. Thankfully since the weight is heavy.
Sizing: I ordered a slim fit size 35. They can in perfect to spec all measurements are on.
I messed up. The Ciano slim fit is very low rise. Just too low for me personally no fault to Ciano at all.
They are getting shipped back for another pair. Customer service is awesome.
I say that Ciano Is the company we wanted Lawless to be but couldn't.

Not interested in any of the fabrics they offer, but maybe some day down the line, if they hunt for some nice rare fabrics. |

It's good to see Ciano learning from this board, as he's definitely taking things one step at a time and walking the walk, not just talking the talk.
My jeans should arrive this week, then I have two canvas jackets hopefully less than a month away. At least I feel confident that I'll almost certainly get them in this timeframe.

are you guys calling him or emailing? All email but when I told him about the fit problems he gave me his number and we spoke on the phone getting my measurements down. Remember guys size up with heavy/thick fabrics. Inside diameter and outside diameter really do come into play. I got too finicky at first with fit but I am dialed it. Once again I want to say these were my issues measuring and trying to get that perfect perfect fit. Not Ciano's mess ups. |
