Yeah, I was thinking the same. I like the initial color but the final faded result is not appealing at all.

Tonal stitching on the Japan Viridian?!!! ? uggh...Gustin come on man, that kills it for me. That's criminal. Agreed, Ickes. Tonal stitching on Indigo just looks wrong...

Even the workshirt, though. Nice indigo... tonal thread, yikes!
Might be enough to get me to hold off on the Italy Sea Blue as well. Probably should have jumped on the Italy Sky's last time to get a contrast stitching on a light shade... Oh well.

So glad you guys pointed out the tonal stitching on the Viridians! I had just assumed they would pair normal "orangish" thread with such an awesome green cast denim. Tonal stitching is a total dealbreaker, I backed out of the campaign. :-( Really really hope they offer that fabric again with contrast stitching I was super excited for it and now I'm sad.

I've been at the gym so I'm behind on this. Vidirian . . . tonal . . . what?

I've been at the gym so I'm behind on this. Vidirian . . . tonal . . . what? check the new G drops stinky. They dropped a kick ass pair of Green cast Japanese denim called thr Vidirian but they are going with tonal stitching on it. complete waste of a beautiful looking denim.

I'm actually going to email GUSTIN and see if the tonal stitching isn't just a typo, seriously. I can't remember GUSTIN going tonal on any Indigo denims other than bluexblack varieties.

Did I go to a weird school that didn't have cotton food trays? How's that work for the work shirt? It doesn't seem like recycled food trays would lead to a 100% cotton chambray, right? Are we talking 100% poly, 50%, or 10% poly/10% foodstuff/80% cotton?

It would probably help a bit on the Viridians if they didn't post up the lightest swatch. It makes it look like they'll fade to an acid wash... *shudder*

It does look nice and if the stitching is lighter, like a Japan Blue inseam, this shirt would be cool. Assuming it's not plastic and hotdog.

The food tray workshirt is really 10.25oz not 12oz. It's not a chambray as it states it's really a canvas type fabric. Ren cleared that up.
