Blackwatch...looks like G got a professional to sew that sample. Looks good. Still not going to trust them, though. I need more visual evidence. Funny, same thought. At least they've mastered making their samples not look stupid. Now if shipped product matches... I am debating the Indigo Jacquard. Would look nice with the navy buttons off of my Wabisabi, which could use cooler buttons.

I still would be tempted to buy but when they used to use the 50" chest pattern for XXLT I found that heavier fabrics sewed up smaller. Losing that inch and a half AND a heavy fabric is likely gonna kill it for me.

I would have backed the last few shirts if the first round of new style shirts shipped already and I knew how they fit. They'd be wise to rush that first shipment. I don't want to buy any more shirts until I know they won't be a display for man boobs.

I thought the Indigo Jacquard looked great too. Unfortunately its a work shirt and blue...two things I don't need.

Their question was "Where would you were this shirt?" - my immediate response when I saw this "Hopefully not around anyone who knows how to sew a shirt". It looked good until I took a closer look at the collar. So close...but meh.

Indigo Jaquard looks good, but it needs better buttons. I hate that i'm becoming a button snob.

Just picked up the Black Friday T-shirt 3-pack. I’m pretty happy with their tees and the price is good, and you don’t really care that it takes months to arrive, they just show up one day and are generally soft and nice colors, and these are organic cotton, and made in USA, and no patterns to mis-align 😉

18oz Super Heavy Slub for $129. Thoughts? It is strange that this is what I have been after lately and this is, somehow, all wrong. I want big wild texture, but looking at the photos, there is some sort of pattern that shows up. It reminds me of when I got the Cone Pima Fires and they looked streaky and silly. I consulted the internets to see how they look in real life since it is style #26 so these have been around a while. Someone on reddit is saying that they looked worse in person and said, "animal print"...yuck. https://www.reddit.com/r/rawdenim/comments/1hkjkw/mottled_appearance_on_gustin_super_heavy_slub/ and then other comments stated that they were the same fabric of the Naked and Famous "big slub"...so I would recommend google searching those. Up close, that slub looks ridiculous (in a good way), but any photo from any distance a normal human would see your jawns from looks ridiculous (in a bad way) with that pattern. Looks like the kind of jeans one would wear with an "affliction" t-shirt or "american fighter" t-shirt. What is worse, the guy posting on Reddit didn't think they would have this pattern (and why they said it looked worse in person)...that was back in campaign #26 which was when Lord Gustin only deemed it necessary to post one picture of 1 square inch of material. That had to be brutal to go from that close-up shot of gnarly slub filling your head with magical dreams to getting this pair of Afflication Animal Fighter jeans to crush all of your hopes and aspirations of being somebody one day. hopefully, my interest in silly slub won't get the best of me. I do not think I could wear this denim to the office.

Thanks for your thoughts xertonmai.
I think I may stay out of this end of the pool (slub). I agree on this not being right for my office-wear.
I keep waiting for G to release more Herringbone but it's been awhile. The other jeans prominently on my mind are CF wabash, and I already have more pairs than I need, but I like being able to mix and match and I prefer the newer jean look myself.

The one henley I have from them fits weird. The neckline is bizarre and it is boxy and out of spec. I really just like their t-shirts. Trying one more pair of jeans before I give up.

#321 Japan Red Fire I can't decide if I want to wear these or not. I keep thinking it would be more interesting as a jacket. www.weargustin.com/store/6282If this is what you want, I would recommend buying a pair of cheaper jeans with white weft and all the characteristics you want and dying them yourself. No need to spend no goddamn $45 more when you can have a super fun project dying stuff in the house. All the jerks on here (and I use that phrase in a manner that is not meant to be insulting but is just how address people) were talking about purple weft and I had these Pima Cone Fire jawns that I couldn't stand the streaks...so put two and two together. PEN PINEAPPLE APPLE PEN! (that just happened) the purple fires The jeans were on the cheaper side and the dye was a few dollars. I think it is just put dye in hot water with salt or some BS and soak. Rinsing the dye out did take FOREVER. The results are perfect for dying, but jeans with a purple hue...I can't pull it off...and I don't know if I want to. In the bright sun of this subtropical paradise, they are ridiculous and fill me with great shame and remorse. If I had to do it over again, I would have went with a dark grey dye to take out the "fire" streaks...which make me feel like an "affliction" shirt guy. Even better would have been if I would have used the kakishibu I had laying around...little did I know that stuff goes bad quickly. Red might be OK and if that is what will make you happy, go for it. The brahs on here have some weird styles. Maybe less lately because the pool has shrunk, but that is what I liked about this place. We all dressed different and were from all across the board, but could still find a common ground in some men's clothing. But it is not a standard feel walking in something like this bright colored wefted jawns and you have to be confident that you can shrug off the gawks and comments.

Backed those raglan tees because I liked the colors and raglan looks good on me. I was super tempted, but only held out based on personal preference. Well that and I have a ton of t's. They finally dropped some more v's but with the poly blend. I'm a cotton only t-shirt guy.
