Am I the only one thoroughly confused by all of their new "corduroy" chinos??? Definitely, the fabric looks a lot more like whipcord/jungle cloth than corduroy... In fact, it looks NOTHING like corduroy. Actually, the US Navy jungle cloth/whipcord that they used in the 20s-40s, WAS a water repellent version of Bedford Cord. Agree it looks way better than regular corduroy.

Yeah the top is good in the straights but further down they look like baloonlegs on me. Don't give Gustin any ideas or they just might release some denim pantaloons

Anyone else thinking of backing the 68?

no. I still have my Cone Superlights so don't need anymore. I realize that Cone has gone tits up but it hasn't made me want to run out and buy a pair.

Thought it may be worth getting a $68 pair to Commemorate the closing (kind of paradoxical).

Thought it may be worth getting a $68 pair to Commemorate the closing (kind of paradoxical). Go for it. There's still other companies that offer Cone, but once that inventory dries up that's it. I'm sure some are rushing out to get a pair from whoever just to own a piece of history

Thought it may be worth getting a $68 pair to Commemorate the closing (kind of paradoxical). For $68, it's definitely something I'd consider. When I read the news, I browsed Bravestar as well. The denim, while historic, is boring. But I guess it doesn't hurt to have one boring pair in my collection.

I have considered it at that price but I don't think I'd ever wear them. Plus I still have the Greensboro which are cone and almost the exact same jean.

i just backed the two new flannels. I really hope the chest isn't actually tighter then the original classic medium. Both are great looking shirts. I'm glad they did this, the older style was definitely starting to feel old, and I have probably at least 10 of their shits.

Do somebody have Blue 17? I do. They are my work jeans so I wear them all the time. Dark indigo is great and a little hairy

For the most part, the improvements are better for sure. I'd have liked to see them with a bit more collar roll in the button downs, and sadly, the XXL would be taxing the chest buttons if I inhaled. I only have the old blue postal work shirt in XXL, and it is none too large for me. Oh well.

I also am not entirely convinced about the chest. We with some pecs really struggle between sizes on the old style. So like - am I to get both L and XL to try out the new fit?

Wow. Gustin finally changing their shirting and it looks... Good... if they offered these with traditional shirt pockets I might be inclined to try one, but i'm not a big fan of work shirt pockets so an easy pass. the fabrics also don't do much for me but i'll keep an eye out to see what other styles they try, especially for flannel.
