The F&T ones have so many panels and cut lines they look goofy. The AG is much cleaner and better looking. I tend to wear fleece when it's cold, but cotton can be okay in mild situations. The AG hoodless Moto looks good to my eyes.

I just did a buy for the fiancé... Heavyweight hoodie, thermal Henley, and thick leggings. Used the 20% military discount, and free shipping so it came out to $189-ish.

I don't have a hoodie, but I do have some of their sweatpants. I like em. I also have a T from them. After wearing it a few times, I have to agree with ickes , the T cut is a little boxy. I've washed it in warm/hot a few times and its better, but not among the best Ts I own. The fabric is good though. I think I'm going to have to go with Gustin as my best fitting T (I go for a L in Gustin Ts and XL slim in their shirts), as well as, oddly enough, a couple of graphic Ts from Locally Grown and Ames Bros. I have their sweatpants also and I agree, I like em too. Just wore them to the gym last night actually.

I bought the hoodie and also a sweatshirt. Got 15% off as a new customer, so not bad.

By the way, the "verification" for the military discount seems to be bullsh!t..... I'm sure they don't have access to a VA database, so I would venture to say that all of you bros can benefit from that 20% discount

My mom found one of these sweatshirts at a thrift store for a few bucks. It's actually a really nice sweatshirt. The fleece is super soft on the inside and densely woven on the outside. It's stitched together really well with thick stitching and nice seams. Overall, it's a rock solid peice. And for a US garment, it is surprisingly similar to some of the Japanese brands

I grabbed 2. I was unsure of sizing, and reviews I've seen are all over the map. So, I ordered a classic pullover in XXL, and a classic zip in XL. I like a little extra room in a pullover, anyway. If I'm lucky, I may not have to return either of them.
Edit: Not a bad deal, though. $106 for the 2 of them, plus free shipping.

Turns out the size medium work shirts are huge and specific measurements aren't posted anywhere. Will be sending it back and looking into small. Anyone here have a size small that you'd be willing to measure? Fit comparison: Both size medieum AG IH
Other than the sizing being too big, the construction of the AG is fantastic.

Good news! Decided to hot wash it a couple times and it shrunk a TON. It now measures similar to the IH. This thing is so nice! The fabric is amazing and the snaps are smooth functioning, quiet, and feel like old military snaps.

I bought my BIL a SS for XMAS.
That is an interesting shirt and good to know about the shrinkage.
The coaches jacket takes me back, I have not owned one of those since I was little. Their models and photographer do a great job of making every piece look great.

Post-wash: 44 chest 30 length 26.5 sleeve Measured the chest pre-wash and it lost about an inch. Also, I believe it lost well over an inch in length. Update: Ended up sending it back. Got a small and it's perfect.

Looks oddly generic and as if the pocket exists as an afterthought. No character IMO.

I've got to agree with northcoast . Uninspiring. Even if I were considering it for work, the lack of a decent weight(5.8 oz), and lack of a 2nd pocket removes from consideration. A very easy pass.

The quality looks solid, the tailoring even looks nice, and yet it's an ugly shirt. It must be the proportions of the single pocket. AG will probably make something more interesting in the future. I'm personally waiting for that. Hopefully something with snaps.

If you took the pocket flap away, it would look somewhat like a TS mechanic

I'm personally waiting for that. Hopefully something with snaps. I'm with you here. I have given consideration to the work shirt(which, I know you have). But, I'm not a fan of the fleece, in that design. I had hoped they would procure an 8 - 10 oz canvas or twill. The snaps look good. I could go either way with the flap pockets.
