I can understand their doubts : if you check what noticed elementality22 in the top of this thead : he's right. For 2 different fabrics, this is 2 same pictures but one is darker than the other... I'm not saying anything but let's be objectiv : it's strange. Wow, this is pretty crazy. I just noticed this too. What's to be said about this? Maybe just error with the new site? For instance the Japanese tan say the color is Indigo. Small things, no worries. |

And as a sidenote, if LD were just collecting our money and had no vision of delivering but bailing to Hawaii, then why all the details on the site, why even build a new site. Why this new photos of everything, bringing in Laura here, and DD, and actually chatting with us and giving sane options on what matches what.
If this is a scam then its by far the best one I have ever seen.

Is there any validity to guys claim that the pic of the 14oz Niphon Grey and 15.2oz Cone are the same swatch of fabric?, it's just the picture has been altered..... At first, I said BS..... but the denim pics seem eerily similar  I just spoke to Roman about this and requested him to take some photos of him holding the actual denims in question. I do not know if or why it would be done when he definitely has the denim in hand   |

If this is a scam then its by far the best one I have ever seen. i've been scammed before that and an indigogo sport tracker! it's been 2 years for both...350 CAD down the drain. it hurts and they were fairly elaborated. It's hard to fully say they are scams but i get no communication and never got my product and it's well over their promised date  . The people that were promised their stuff got low quality items! |

Hi all, first post. I've lurked for a couple weeks, and this sale brought me out of hiding. You guys seem like a pretty cool and laid back group, which is awesome. Anyway, I have a couple thoughts:
1. Why doesn't the lawlessdenim.com website redirect to the new site? The new address doesn't pop up anywhere in the first three pages on Google when searching Lawless denim. Searching 'ra denim' (no quotes) just gets you hits for raw denim.
2. I ordered a couple things, and I hope they turn out well. I'm excited to check out the new fabrics. I wanted to order an IndigoxIndigo jacket but the fabric ran out, so I hope there's something similar.
3. I totally get why some people on other forums would be skeptical. Lawless hasn't established a name for themselves yet, and when you google them you get mixed reviews. If someone really wants to help out the brand, don't come on so strong, because it makes you seem like a used car salesman. If you have some kind of evidence (pictures of a finished product for example), people will respect that. If they miss out on a great sale, that's their loss.
4. The website needs some proof reading, which will help with the perceptions of the brand. Information in the fabric details doesn't always match the title or the picture.
5. Eventually it would be nice to have a bit more info under the fabric swatches. You guys should take pictures of all these orders so you can create a library of completed products with various fabrics, hardware/stitch colors, etc. Sometimes it's hard to tell what a jacket or jeans will look like from a little fabric square.
6. Is there a way to have the forum snap to the top when you click to the next page?

I remember Gustin has made this type of mistake before and no one had freaked out. Roman and his team have done a great job to get a brand new website up and running in such short period of time. I think mistake will be made especially the site only launched less than 3 days ago. Just give LD time to work out all the bug. |

Searching 'ra denim' (no quotes) just gets you hits for raw denim. when i hit lawlessdenim.com it redirects to the new site. i think that first night of the launch it still reflected the 'old' site for a while, probably took a while for the change to propagate to dns servers. i'm guessing the ra-denim url was a way for them to do some testing and make the cut-over to the new site without impacting the old site. maybe not the cleanest way to migrate without some confusion, but functional nonetheless. i'm guessing ra-denim doesn't pop up in a google search because it really had only been established a few days and the 'brand' is still 'lawless'. |

Cone, but if you click back and forth between the two it's clear they're the same swatch. i'm not saying that there's any issue with what's on hand, and definitely don't think there is any conspiracy at play...but for those not frequenting here and seeing/hearing from roman, laura, and sal on a regular basis...i can see how it would be questionable. i even have a pair of the 14 oz. Niphon Menpu Dark Grey on order and am a bit curious if the swatch is accurate since seeing that. similar to comments stinky made earlier...site accuracy and quality will be nearly as imperative to success as product quality. there's a huge customer base out there that don't have the benefit of this forum as a constant source of info. |

It's good to have initiative and drive and set high standards for yourselves, but they need to be careful of trying to go faster than they're capable of doing prudently. They're taking a bit of a software development mentality where you put out a product that's 80-90% there and commit to fixing bugs and patching after the fact. My mistake for causing this misunderstanding between you guys.. |
