I don't know sh*t from shynola when it comes to stocks. I just know that ever since the orange turd has been in office i've made serious gains on my 401k. I checked my balance the other week and it's up several thousand dollars and that seems to be the current trend. Not gonna matter if we're all vaporized by the second dumbest looking person.

You bought in at $5000. Doubled up. Time to cash out...

Make that $11,000.
I think it'll go to 12-13000 before we see a pull back

Make that $11,000. I think it'll go to 12-13000 before we see a pull back Forgive my bitcoin ignorance, but why do you think it will go to 12-13k? Is there some kind of market data to support that? I mean, I know that ultimately the value of every currency is based on the "full faith and credit" of the government, but with bitcoin it just doesn't seem like there is any "there" there, if you know what I mean. The value also seems to be accelerating, which I'm sure is very exciting, but also seems like what would happen right before a collapse. Please don't take this for criticism. It is your money and you can do with it what you wish. I also recognize that I am fairly conservative when it comes to investing. I basically just do automatic withdrawls every month and tell my financial advisor to go for singles and doubles, not triples and home runs and then I leave it alone. I don't know. It works for me.

The trend over the past year suggest it. But this is something new so I have no idea what to really expect. Here's one guys opinion

Im the last guy anyone should listen to when it comes to investing. I've lost nearly everything twice. tech bubble and international stocks wrecked me years ago. The great recession 2008 was the best thing that happened to me, I could buy houses for dirt.

One strategy I've been successful with is when you double your money, especially in such a short span of time, I would sell half my position, return my initial investment, and then play with the houses money. Moving forward, you can't loose a dime. If you let the rest ride, and it goes to a million, at least you would have a half million. I'm sure you'd still feel pretty good with that.

Yeah, I thought of that. But I don't have a lot in. At least nothing I can't afford to lose.

Get out! my plan was to pull out at 19,000, wait for a drop and buy back in around 16000 I didn't expect all of that to happen in an hour! I was out getting an oil change

At this point No one seems to know what the price is. It seems all the exchanges are showing different prices. Coinbase (the one I use) is frozen. It's being reported that someone sold 14,000 coins

Anyone looking to make a Gamble might want to buy bit of Bitcoin.
Open an account on with cionbase app. Link you checking account or use a CC.
It would be a Gamble so only buy what you can afford to loose but it would be a very educated gamble

So did the bubble finally burst or did the 22% drop today just make it cheaper to get in on the ground floor?

how easy is it to sell when you're ready to cash out? On coinbase only minute It's the buying that takes a few days. So if your buying your first amount it may not be available for 2 or 3 days. I guess you could make a buy, lock in the price, if the price drops badly you could pull the money out of your checking so the buy amount bounces. Then your only risking a $30 bank fee for a bounce check
