anyone have any experience with Buck Mason? MiUSA clothing company comprised mainly of basics: tees, denim, sweats, and shirting. www.buckmason.comPrices seem pretty reasonable. Wondering if anyone has tried them out and has some reviews/opinions

Wondering if anyone has tried them out and has some reviews/opinions I've got probably 8 t shirts from buck mason, a chambray work shirt (or army shirt I think they call it???) and I've ordered about 4 other shirts I've sent back. Their T shirt fabrics are really quite nice...dare I say some of the nicest light weight T shirts fabrics I've ever come across. However, the fit is odd for me and they have a dick curtain cut to them much like the Gustin button up shirt. The Chambray fit's me great, fabric is nothing special, but it's a nice shirt that fits very well.

these guys were on Shark Tank quite a while back...they actually rejected an offer they got and walked out of there with no deal lol. Was kind of interesting.

Dick curtains?! Well dammit. Still looking for that magical t shirt. Left Field remains my favorite for crew neck, but their v neck is a little too NJ.

What size did you go with? It's close on the dick curtain cut...borderline...not quite drastic like the Gustin shirts but enough to notice

Pretty sure I have L. They shrink quite a bit from new, I was initially worried when I tried one on pre wash. I swear Tebow (3Sixteen) had non pocket t's last I looked, but now I can't find them.
Still trying to track down a non pocket Velva Sheen and a Lady White.
Just the weight and the made in LA thing had me thinking the Buck Masons might be the old MeUndies T, but they're a normal cut. Would like to figure out who made those. Wearing one now and still love it.

One other thing to note with the Buck Mason T's, when you wash and hang dry them the fabric stretches like a mofo and you easily gain a size or two in length. conversely, when you throw them in the dryer the fabric shrinks like a mofo and you lose about a size. So yeah...there's that. Honestly, overall I wouldn't recommend the T's lol. A shame because the fabrics are really nice, the colors are too actually.

Still trying to track down a non pocket Velva Sheen and a Lady White. I think SelfEdge carries Lady White. Also, I found some non pocket Velva Sheens a year or so ago but can't remember where on the interwebs I found them. I'll see if I can track that down again. 3sixteen non pocket T's are great. I have four of five of them. Sizing is sometimes a bit inconsistent but when you get it right they are easily at the top of my list.

I've gotten their shits - i like em, kinda a different cut (not gustin-esque dick curtains, but almost) Same here.... Despite my closet full of brands discussed here I've yet to find the ideal one....literally I think the best one may be the last gap v next I bought Price seems to have minimal correlation with quality For example: left field tube tee. Awesome but neck to big Lady white Henley stretched wideeee gustin is just shitty all around Pistol lake. Excellent but between a l and XL

Yeah, I use my LF as undershirts, so the big head hole isn't as big of a deal, but it is an odd size.

I got a Left Field v-neck, wish i paid more attention, it is a deep v, well too deep for what i like. To bring it full circle - i like buck mason's v's...semi-curtains and all.

I will agree with this. The V on the Buck Mason V necks is damn near perfect. Not too shallow, not too deep. Thanks for the input on the head holes on the Left Field's guys. Guess I won't give them a shot after all.

bentin, did you get your shirts? Haven't ordered any yet. Waiting on an order from Ciano (which could be a long wait.) Edit - maybe they're listening, Ciano T's shipped today, two weeks after order. Will order Buck Masons unless the Ciano prove to be the holy grail.

I'll chime in. I have some Gustin T's that I like fairly well. Not the greatest, but solid. I like my T's fairly fitted and a Gustin large is good for me in the chest, but I wish the length was a bit longer. My recent experiments have included American Giant (nice fabric, and a good length, but a bit too wide in the chest and body) and Velva Sheen tubular knit (OK fabric, too short in the length and too big in the body). I want a single plain white T, no pocket. Buck Mason measurements look pretty good for me in a large and I don't mind the rounded shirttail. 3sixteen is out of stock in my size and is heavier than what I'm looking for. Will they make a lighter weight for the spring/summer? Looking at Lady White, the chest looks a little big and the length a little too short. Left Field looks a little short. Bravestar looks pretty good, but sold out in my size and I only want one shirt, not a 2 or 3 pack. Ciano looks pretty good. Shoulder maybe too big?
I guess I'm backing into Buck Mason unless anyone else has anything to add.

I know T's are so personal, more so than jeans I feel like because our upper bodies are all so different and we like different fits. I have tried a lot of the brands you mentioned and at the top of my list out of those and at the top of my list overall are the 3sixteen T's. I know it's too heavy for you but they are some of the best I have tried.

I was able to find one in XL on the interwebs. They say it shrinks 1" in the chest and 2" in length. Would you say that jives with your experience? EDIT: A local stockist carries 3sixteen. I just called them and they have my size! If I can manage to stop screwing around today and actually do some work, I might be able to sneak over there and check one out.

9oz is a good winter weight for me, but 4-6 is all I can take in the warmer months. I do like having a few heavier t's, but no way I'm rocking a 9oz when it's 105°.
