and blue owl has the best customer service. also, the hem service is great - they'll hem for free and send out to you but if you need to try for fit first, they mail to you and then you mail back for free hemming and return shipping. can't be beat. I checked their hemming info section and it says for free hemming they'll send your delivery but you have to send them back, which is what you're saying as to trying jeans on first. but you're also saying they'll hem the jeans to your specs prior to shipping and send out so long as I know the inseam I want hemmed?

thought i'd chime in on my BOW shopping experience. Last week I took advantage of their reopening sale and bought a pair of the 3sixteen SL-120X shadow selvedge jeans. They were shipped promptly and Jay communicated this to me right away. I then sent my jeans back for hemming knowing i'd have to pay shipping there and back. Jay contacted me as soon as my parcel arrived at their store and informed me my jeans were being hemmed and that return shipping was on them. I thought this was the coolest thing for BOW to do. Not only does this reinforce for me that great customer service exists but Jay has exemplified this times ten. I'm now a fan and will continue to buy from BOW in the future.

I've had great experiences, once buying the N&F two-fer they had and then contacting them about a restock on something else.

I've had great experiences, once buying the N&F two-fer they had and then contacting them about a restock on something else. that seems to be the consensus on their customer service. It's a shame that there aren't too many companies out there that have great customer service like BOW. I would've been fine just getting my product, so having Jay personally contact me about my order was icing on the cake.

I just used it to buy the Kibata. I'm interested to see how they compare to the Zoomies, which are due to ship next month. With the code, the Kibata wound up about $25 more. Soon, I will be soaking in Zimbabwe loomstate goodness.....twice.

I'll use these on the BOW Momo 0702 IndigoxBlacks or IndigoxBrowns, but realized they're still $250 after discount. I'll probably think about it until it's gone. Great find, though!

BOW sure knows how to spoil a guy. I bought the Kibata at 9:30 last night. Today, I got a shipping confirmation, and an email assuring me they would be in USPS hands today. With the holiday weekend, I was fully expecting them to go out Tuesday. Expectations exceeded ! It's a shame this level of CS isn't universal. Then again, if it was, we might not have as much to talk about.

This is a shout out to Jay Doughten at Blue Owl Work Shop. I have been meaning to go to his shop for about a year or so. I finely got a chance to go to Seattle for a day. I was pressed for time as I was only in Seattle to take friend to the Airport. and we had about an hour to kill before the flight left. So my friend and I decided to go to the Fremont area and see if we could find the Blue-Owl workshop The place is kind of hard to find but a hint is to look for the Blue Owl logo in one of the windows. His shop is on the upper floor of a very nondescript building In the Fremont area of Seattle. But trust me it is truly a Mecca of Denim! I decided to try on a couple of pairs of denim and the gentleman helping me was extremely helpful and polite at all times. I am still somewhat new to the Selevedge denim world and am still learning all the proper terminology. But this gentleman corrected me in a nice way and even gave me a couple of websites look at to help me educate my-self on The Selvedge denim world more. At the end of my time there, The man asked me my name and shook my hand and replied. If you need any more help feel free to email me, My name is Jay. I dumbly asked Jay Doughten the owner of this shop!? He said "Yes Sir" very pleased you guys could stop to look around our store and feel free to come back and visit the shop anytime! As my Father used to say, "That guy is a class act!" Jay will definitely have me as a customer in the future!

I saw a few pics of the BOM008-Ts on Blue Owl's Instagram and was hooked. But I think I'll follow your advice and go Denimio. Does Denimio count as a foreign transaction? I got hit with foreign transaction fees using Rodeo, totally forgot about foreign transaction fees and used the wrong card.
