The Aether Stormy is a fantastic looking jacket, but it certainly is a bit pricey. It is. And then they had to go and ruin it with epaulets! (Just a pet peeve. No offense to anyone who likes those damn things.)

I'm pretty sure that only cheese eating surrender monkeys like those things.

I ended up getting this one Universal works UK I first saw it in Unionmades sale. Went directly and got a better price. The coat is perfect for me. Materials are like a light wind breaker. Fully lined, attached hood, not too boxy. A perfect grab and go for wet warmer weather. It came with a wool button in vest liner. I'll leave that in until it gets too hot. Universal works are great. Shipped same day I ordered. From UK to my door (Midwest USA) 3 days. I also got a pair of khakis, nice light brushed twill in a slim cut. All for less than the coat alone from Unionmade.

Nice score, @61scout. And thanks for passing on the pricing info. They have some nice stuff.

It looks really good, actually, I like the styling and the 100% cotton outer. A lot more details would be needed to make me comfortable with a pre-order though, such as what sort of closures it's using for everything, what the inside/finishing looks like, etc. It looks ripe for velcro or hook and loop which would put it right out of my interest (especially if the nasty stuff shows up on the wind-flap).
