The Hill Side puts out a lot of stuff on sashiko as well - ties, shoes, wallets, etc.

You're talking about the Leepro one right? Does Kapital do an indigo sashiko type3?

Blue Blue Japan & Momotaro also do sashiko clothing. I think even N&F had done sashiko jeans/trousers back in 2013.

Didn't SdA have a pair of Sashiko jeans? Seems like bugula (rip) had a pair.

I had no idea there were jeans specifically for quilting.

I thought it had to be fabric composition, not stitching. Ok then......... "Sashiko quilting (Pronounced: SA-SHEE-KOE) is a form of quilting originating from Japan. Centuries ago, Japanese peasants practised a running-stitch technique called "little stabs" to patch torn or worn clothes. Mending was vital as cloth and thread were scarce and therefore valuable. When white cotton thread became available, this was used for patching indigo blue garments, and this gave Sashiko its distinctive appearance. The oldest surviving item of sashiko-stitched clothing is from the Asuka period and is a Buddhist priest's robe. It was donated to a temple in 756. Many Sashiko patterns were derived from Chinese designs, but just as many were developed by the Japanese themselves. The artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760 – 1849) published the book New Forms for Design in 1824, and his designs have inspired many Sashiko patterns. N&F and The Hill Side also did sashiko sneakers in '16.
3sixteen also did that horrendous sashiko work jacket last year.

disheveled what kinda shirt is that? looks great! I've got RgT's brown sashiko workshirt (here's a close up) and Kapital's Century Denim in Kakishibu and Sumi, both in Cisco fit I believe. Something I've envisioned, but have yet to see, is a sashiko blazer. I'm picturing something subtle, like black thread on black, or gray thread on black, but I think that'd look incredible...

I completely agree--love the white traditional diamond pattern with the black sashiko thread diving in and out. I am parting with it because I just never wore it, unable to integrate it in.
