So I decided to stroll into the Brooklyn Denim CO. in Williamsburg yesterday after work. I was originally looking for some 3sixteen, but the Raleigh Denim Workshop just stood out to me. The feel and look was so beautiful. (Yes I said beautiful) that I had to try them on. I went with my original 36, but noticed that they were to loose. So I went down a size (34) which are great. So here are a few shots of the Denim itself. (Of course I purchase 2 of the same) Martin Thin Tapered fit: 12.5 oz cone mills white oak selvage denim our original, tinted-weft selvage is made exclusively for raleigh at the cone mills white oak plant. handcrafted in downtown raleigh, nc, usa. button fly gold stitching half-lined back pockets limited edition, hand-stamped numbered leather-patch selvage detail at coin pocket + back belt loop hand-signed inside on front pockets signature red chainstitch hem 100% cotton

Those look really good. Something to be said for an all American pair of jeans. I'm hoping Roy releases something a little more tapered in 2017, would love to have a pair.

alphatectz - saw you posted on Reddit too nice pick ups Thx! By going a size down these are super slim, but they'll eventually stretch out to a good size. Fit pics to come soon.

Fit pics: I must say that these fit slimmer than my 16oz left fields. (These will edited for Reddit just to show the Denim and not my upper half.)

So I'm going to see if I can exchange these for a 36 instead of a 34. The 36 will be slightly looser but I think I'll feel better with that.

Update: exchanged the 34s for a 36. New fit pics coming tomorrow. I think thats a good choice. IMO the 34s look to small. I'm not a believer in the whole "buy the fit that you can barely button the top button then stretch the jeans" theory. It's not comfortable and it doesn't work for me. I buy for the thighs, that's the most important measurement for me now. I like to be able to sit, squat, kneel, etc comfortably in my jeans. An ideal fit for me is one that fits the thighs comfortably (not too loose but not too tight) and a waist that has some room in it out of the bag. Usually about .5 to 1.0" larger than my actual waist size. That works the best for me. I think the 36s will work better for you, looking forward to the fit pics.

Didn't put them on today since it was supposed to rain, but tomorrow will definitely be the day I wear them. I have to go back to Brooklyn Denim Co. since they only had one pair my size. They're ordering the other for me so I can go and pick them up. Also I'm never sizing down anymore.

Aside from my Gustin Okayamas, I have yet to buy a pair of jeans that doesn't stretch more than that in the waist between annual-ish washings. Hence buying down.
But absolutely agree that buying for thigh fit is key.

I think a lot of us here have learned this, lol. I remember a couple years back when the idea was to buy them snug, and stretch to fit, but it doesn't always produce the desired results. I have to say my favorite pair of jeans are my 26oz Gustins, and they came on the small side. After 100s of wears, and leaning down about 10lbs the last year of so, they now fit pretty darn good. Knowing what I now know, would I do it again. Hell NO!

Knowing what I now know, would I do it again. Hell NO! Screw sizing down. When I lose weight my waist stays the same or goes down at least an inch. I'll still stick with a 36 waist since I wear a belt.

Agree. The picture of you at the wheel shows that they aren't constricting the blood in your legs up into your brain, lol.

Fix your tire pressure.

It could be a faulty sensor. Actual tire pressure might be good.

It could be a faulty sensor. Actual tire pressure might be good. Then replace the sensor. Or short out the dash light. Anything but a lit warning light on the dash.

It could be a faulty sensor. Actual tire pressure might be good. Pressure is low on all tires. Need to bring the jeep in next weekend for a oil change tire rotation and to check the sensors and air in each tires and to check if I have any screws stuck in them.
