Does anyone else see a shark? Yes, and I see Fonzi as well at that price.

I think they look great minus the logo. Been quite a while since I've owned a Polo though

I think they look great minus the logo. Been quite a while since I've owned a Polo though Yup. I had a few in the back of the closet that I got rid of a couple years back, simply because they hadn't been worn in years. These undoubtedly are heavier, but basically look the same.

price aside, these look pretty good. I still have a rotation of 5-6 polo shirts that i wear to work during the summer. They're just easy to throw on and passable work attire for almost any situation in the construction industry. I only buy Polo brand at this point after years of trying other brands that end up shrinking, developing terrible collar roll, or pilling.
But i find them on sale, so i don't think i'd ever be interested in these at full retail for work-only pieces.

Rhinestone Diamonds and all, i flipping love this shirt...insta classic Did you have any issues with the sleeve length on the 171? A size large is listed as having a 24.5" sleeve, which is .5" shorter than im comfortable with. This shirt is growing on me

gaseousclay I didnt notice the half inch in the sleeves, but I roll em up. The shirt is great and I'm thinking hard about the brick one, too.

Is the sleeve length on yours 24.5"? You and I seem to have similar builds with the exception of me being 10lbs heavier. Maybe your arms are shorter?

Yes, I just measured 24.5" for sleeves, and since the sleeves were already rolled down I tried it on, focusing in on where the sleeves break: Just below the wrist--seems normal. By looking at IHUK's fit pics you can see the sleeves' length seems normal on Alex. I really think it'll be a non issue, unless you want the sleeves poking out from a jacket/sweatshirt. Have you thought about sizing to an XL and hot washing, or do the Large's numbers look good (besides sleeves)?

I had considered sizing up but even then the sleeve is only 25.1" and a hot wash would likely shrink that as well, which would put me back at square one. I like my sleeves to be at least 25.5" to 26" as this gives me some wiggle room if the shirt does shrink in the wash. the measurements for the large are perfect, except the shorter sleeves.

Every shirt I own has serious sleeve shrinkage. If you want to wear it as a long sleeve, avoid short starting measurements.

Total guess, but maybe they are counting on the lighter material shrinking less than their usual heavier stuff?

I guess Alex has long arms (per ihuk) and sleeve length doesn't seem to be an issue. My girl just measured my arms and my stats are 25" shoulder down and 34" from center neck down. per Ihuk--"One-washed--so little or no shrinkage with careful washing" Are you thinking of going with the Blue or Brick?

Those blue sleeves are a solid inch too short. Red look short too, but hard to tell with the Gustin pose.

I'm likely not going to buy the 171 because of the sleeves. I don't want to take the chance that they'll shrink up, which is too bad because I think the shirt looks good.
