Yeah I have a feeling my calves won't fit into the 36 straights I've ordered or my chambray shirt. Maybe I should just cancel now. DON'T PUT YOUR LEGS IN THE SHIRT! Not judging you, but what do you do after you dress up the cows? Obviously wine is involved beforehand.

Remind me guys that have Lawless on hand: What did your jeans measure laid flat in the waist in correlation to the tagged Lawless size?
Just curious, i know youre supposed to measure true waist when ordering, i just want to know for the hell of it.

I think that's what's occurring when people are saying that they are coming in under the tag size, which seems to be pretty reliably about 1" under. I haven't received my first lawless jeans yet, though.

I think the idea was that that half inch under tag size was to account for stretch, so that after wear-in the final waist would be TTS

My waist measures a 33.25, I wear a 32 slim in G.
I ordered a 32 for Lawless RTW because I figured a 34 would be way too big and there was no 33. Am I f!@ked (besides ordering from Lawless)?

It's gonna be close, I guess it depends on how well you fill out those Gustins. If you buy your Gustins tight then you might be in trouble.

Lawless' advice on their site was to buy smallet if you're in between.

The Lawless approach is to measure yourself, vs measuring your denim that fits you well. When I got mine, they measured my waist, despite my measurements that I brought to the shop (at that time). So, depending on the denim you opted for, it may be close.

I'm around your size, but Gustin 32 slim is a bit big on me in the waist. My best fit in Lawless is a 33, which started out snug (but not uncomfortable). I ordered a 34 RTW b/c I didn't what to do a lot of stretching (and I wanted to be able to put my hands in the front pockets from the get go). The 34 RTWs measured ~16.75 inches by Gustin measuring guide and fit well though I'll need to wear a belt. So my guess is that you'll be alright, but it's gonna take some work.

I wear 33 slim in G and the 34 RTW slim straight came in on the small end in the leg area and I can tell. I have worn them 2 days and they have loosened up but still require more break in.

The 33.25 waist measurement are you talking Jeans or body? Body. You did follow their instructions for measuring and ordering. Should work unless they arrive small. Keep us in the loop.

Dear All,
I need help here. I just measured my waistline and it is 36". I guess the 36" Lawless RTW will be too tight. Should I go with the 38"? It looks loose a lot. May I have your suggestion? Thanks!

Thanks! If your waist measurement is 36" (soft tape around your waist where you wear your jeans) you should be fine with a 36. If you laid well fitting jeans flat and measured across to get 18", you might have a problem. Perhaps the best advice is to call them and ask their opinion. Here I've been banned from their Instagram and I'm helping them sell product. This is probably the last advice I'll be providing for lawless now that I think about it that way.

Thanks! According to Lawless sizing instructions 36 should work. As mentioned not a bad idea to give a call if you aren't sure. Let us know what they say if you do.
