Hey Fellas,
Was checking out lcking.com, and see where they have a 100% cone denim raw chore coat, cut&sewn in Tennessee for $90 bucks. Check it out, as they have some other cool stuff there.

i tried on a pointer canvas chore coat several months ago. i really wanted to like it and the price was right. but overall i wasn't into it. the collar seemed huge (flashbacks to the pointer collar is one thing that keeps me away from G's chore coats). the only quality issue i had were the button holes were cut too small making it difficult to button and the buttons themselves felt very loose which made buttoning/unbuttoning a bit of a chore (pun intended)

Maybe another "too good to be true" value. I count on places like this and you brahs for good info to not waste my bucks!

The reason I ask is that I saw on on E-Bay a while back, and it was a cotton/poly blend. I read somewhere recently that King was trying to upgrade their fabrics used, and bring up QC. They offer 30 day returns for exchange, or refund, and at the top of the website it says free shipping 24/7

Diggy is there any shrinkage with the canvas jackets after a wash? I have never washed this one. But it was heavily brushed with hot wax which Did make it shrink (I'd say 1/2 to 1 full size).

huh...never heard of those guys. some of their stuff looks pretty decent...i like the looks of that Cone Chore coat. This made me smile, as there's a perception over here that just about everyone in the States wears Pointer Brand chore coats. Obviously not. I've got one of their older style Hickory Stripe ones (although I must admit, I never wear it).

I think pointer brand is more of a southern, Midwest farm wear or Hillbilly country style.

I don't know if you guys noticed, but Massdrop is currently running (what looks like) the same chore coat DigDug posted above (ochre color?) at $69. Here's a link if you're looking for such a thing.

Its a great simple jacket. it just works. A good beater. Not to fitted but not frumpy. I've found that it does shrink 1/2 a size.

25% off everything! The chore jacket is a great deal ($69). They also have a Raw (I think selvedge) Cone Jacket.
