IHSH-134 IH-666S-ST Clark's Desert Trek The sateen pants look great. From the photo they just look like light-stone colored chinos, rather than the disco-esque, I had imagined. The drape and creases make em look like "normal" heavy chino material to me. And the new watch blends seamlessly into your style, great color on the strap, and nice choice Yeah, these pants DEFINITELY should be made in to a chino... No doubt about it. Or, keep the jeans cut, and indigo dip them.

The only good thing about our overly 'mild' spring has been more time in the Onis. Hairy, neppy, slubby...texture whores for sure. G sneakers in the background.

Last night I had to put on a jacket and tie, and realized I forgot the dress shirt. So the Taylor Stitch Mechanic shirt I was wearing at the time was my only option. Glad to know it works okay in a pinch. Rest of the fit: Jacket: Jcrew Shirt: TS Tie: Chipp Neckwear Pants: Jcrew Boots: BB Alden Socks: DTS Watch: Orient

I also do half-Windsor exclusively, not a fan of the FiH look, so it makes for a tougher knot on grenadines, but these knot just fine IMO. Can't tell you how they knot with any other style of knot though. So grain of salt and all of that, but I like them enough, and plan to buy a few more from Chipp. Only have Wine and Navy. I'm going to get a Brown and Black. Price is good, quality is good, and no issues with them so far.

The thing is, I only wear ties maybe 10 times per year these days, so my current 10-15 ties can last several lifetimes at that rate...

How's the quality on jomers shorts?i still have my credit to use and I need shorts. quality is solid. Went with my waist size, but it's a tad tight in the thighs. It's a good length, don't like it longer.

Birkenstocks and Sugar Canes. The Birks were the same color as the 1350 "Big Hoss" Herman Oaks belt..... But, I slathered Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP on them.

Did they finally get rid of the scoops on their shirts?

Differs between shirt models. In fact, if this one didn't have gussets, it would have pretty big scoops. The shirt models I've found that I like so far are this and the Lambert. I also want to try the utility shirt but don't really need on right now
