I remember that. I think you backed it but everyone else was like...meh. This guy?  Pretty sure no one backed it because of the timing. They offered it for an early summer release. So explain to me why Truckers are so liked. This Pic shows why I dislike them and prefer a chore jacket. That Shirt sticking out would drive me nuts. |

Really liked my Dark Oak Trucker, but then it became a pain in the ass for reasons you stated, and I outgrew it so I sold it. If I get another jacket from G, it's going to be a chore, but I'm probably not going to get anything from G anymore unless it's the Summer Blues. |

Lol, the IHTL-1213 looks too baggy and messy untucked with a vest, so, I tucked in ONLY THE FRONT of it lol

I don't think anyone backed G's first denim offering because that particular fabric doesn't lend itself very well to the style of the jacket imo. As to why people like truckers, that's personal preference I guess. I like them because it's a nice casual jacket that suits my lifestyle. they're also a great Spring/Fall jacket when you need to wear a single layer. I'm not big on the lower waisted cut of most truckers, otherwise, I would've picked up a Lee Stormrider jacket a long time ago. 3sixteen nailed it with their type 3 -- it's longer in the waist and you don't have to worry about exposing your crack to the world. My G trucker and Levi's type 3 are the only jackets I own that sit at the belt, but it doesn't bother me that much. My RT Ridgeline sits below the belt as well as my PBJ type 2 and Filson tin cloth short cruiser. |

Cuffs have been adjust downwards, lol. I just did a machine wash and machine dry on my 666's last night and had to cuff them in a hurry this morning... Tried something new, and this pic showed me it wasn't working how I thought it would.

 Got the second IHSH-33 in today. Blue, medium. It's really stiff but once it breaks in and drapes better I think this will be my fav shirt. Also featured, the venerable Gustin Blue Line 2 |

Yeah, the 33's a great shirt. I have the black 33 and also the blacker 85, which seems to be the same style, but I may be wrong.

The fit of that N-1 looks absolutely fine, so the last must have been too big.
How do you find the 23oz jeans? I've given up trying to break in the blacks. They'll always be stiff.

Yeah the XL n-1 wasn't the fit I was looking for. Much happier with the large.
I like the 23s. It's a big jump from my G super heavies and a shock to the system because of how comfortable the Gs are especially now with close to 125-150 wears. I've put about 30-40 hours of wear on these and I think they will fade nicely.

brentkuz it is still the warmest jacket I own. I have the heavy 32oz schott pea coat which is also very warm. It is clearly different from the higher priced model. The one I have has the same detailing as the higher end one but the materials of the lower one. I wouldn't say cheap by any means but the expensive one has a noticeably thicker lining and the jungle cloth also feels more substantial. The lining impacts the fit and I don't think they have the same specs for the equivalent size but that's my guess on how it fits.
