My old boxer Zeke back in his youth... and when he was much older...the day he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer Zeke was a good looking dog. Kind of bad ass! |

We inherited a Boston Terrier 6 months ago. She's 10, only lived in the desert and as an only dog. We were worried about how she'd adapt. No issues at all, a really great dog. The wife figured she would have an issue with the weather here and needed a coat.  |

The wife figured she would have an issue with the weather here and needed a coat. that's great, the coat was a good move...Boston's can definitely get chilled with their short coats. we were fostering one for a while, and last year adopted stella who is probably around 7-8, but looks much older with her grey face and cloudy eye. i imagine she's a boston terrier/french bulldog mix. after having these two, i'm pretty sure i'll always have a boston terrier in the family. |

Kobe aka the beast...everyone thinks he is a puppy but he is 7 yrs old, was my brother's dog originally. My dad says Kobe lives the good life- eat, sleep, play with girls.  |

I wasn't so sure, not having spent much time with her but she's got a lot of personality. I call her "she-taz" because of the noises she makes and her kind of odd animations.

I wasn't so sure, not having spent much time with her but she's got a lot of personality. I call her "she-taz" because of the noises she makes and her kind of odd animations. haha...ours has some allergies (skin and sinus) and snorts a lot...kind of like having a pot bellied pig around |

a lot of good rescues 'round these parts Yeah, we've been on the prowl. There was a massive dog rescue in TN, and a bunch of those made there way up here. Our plan is to get one puppy (everyone in the house wants a labradoodle) and one rescue, perhaps a smaller, short or wired-hair terrier. My son, a fan of memes, really wants a Sheba. He's not getting one. |

He's not getting one. But no dog is more content to get stuck in a fence or shrubbery.  A lot of TN dogs end up here. I think Memphis has on of the higher euthanasia rates in the country...so rescues make a lot of trips down there. |

After having to put my last dog down i don't think i can ever bring myself to get another. I'm still bummed out over that. The only way i'd get another dog is if a giant bag of money fell out of the sky. I would then get a Blue Heeler

My avatar and good friend is now reunited with his favorite miniature pinscher puppy in heaven. He lived a long happy life and was happy and surrounded by loved ones when he passed. R.I.P. Never an easy transition, but take solace knowing that you gave him a good, safe, and happy life. |
