Momotaro denim button boots ... cool or hideous?    Fuggily un-necessary overly expensive novelty item? I'd take the $462 denimo wants and put it towards some real boots. |

I actually don't mind the contrast of materials, not that different than a traditional boot with a tweed upper. But the buttons and zipper are just dumb. If it had laces, I'd almost like it, for khakis.

I could see the denim buttons being used as speed hooks. No zipper and fake overlap.
