Picture of the grey ember? Tempted... Colors are not accurate since its evening and very low sun here now. The shirt is buttery soft and not very thick so its a comfy shirt and not overly dressy bc of the pajama feel. I like it but its too small.

The herringbone is dense and is raised up higher than most and the natural colored weft is really cool looking. Its thick denim--i'm guessing 14oz, has nice selvedge details on the inside of the cuffs, metal buttons, etc... I'll snap some photos,

How many days after the OP posted did you get it by the way? Yeah, I can already tell by the stock pictures that it is good. Very interesting pattern and definitely a contrast to the typical denim jacket you'd see. And you got it at such a good price too! I really really wish I would've copped that instead. Thick denim, metal buttons too? Interesting weft and the herringbone. Man. Oh well, I got the Wabi Sabi Wshirt from a few months ago and that's been serving me amazingly well. www.weargustin.com/store/969It is interesting and fit me great after shrinking it a bit in the washing machine/dryer. Best shirt I have and I got it for the same price you got this one. Please post some pictures. If you ever not want it, let me know! edit: Problem with all the classic fit Gustin shirts, at least for me, was that they were too short. The sides often showed my body and that wasn't good. I had to sell the softest (buttery) chambray button down shirt a few weeks ago because of that reason. Now I am sad. At least I am getting a Naked and Famous chambray with speckle in. Oh well.

yunix - the LD postal isn't the Gustin, though it's the same fabric. It's pretty similar to the wabisabi but the indigo is lighter and there are no ticking stripes which makes it a bit more tame. I have the Gustin wabisabi and jeans in the postal (I also have a hat made of the wabisabi fabric from circle a brand.

Now I really would like some pictures of it because IMO, lighter indigo would've made it look more interesting actually. But if it was similar to the Wabi Sabi maybe I'm fine with not having it then. Thanks for the insight.

I sold a version made by Lawless denim. Custom with brown thread and small metal buttons. They made it too snug so I had to let it go. I had anotherone on order with khaki thread and brown fisheye-buttons but they never completed it.

I know the width of the pattern is referred to as the "wale" in corduroy, so I imagine it's the same thing in herringbone? If so, here's a wale comparison, wabisabi vs postal herringbone. You'll see that under the ticking stripes, the width and depth of the pattern is pretty similar (if not identical) on both. I think these two, as well as the indigo and moss herringbone that Gustin has had in the past) all came off of the same looms, even though the postal is supposedly Italian. If not the same loom(s), then it's likely the same model of loom at a couple different mills.

I had anotherone on order with khaki thread and brown fisheye-buttons but they never completed it. Oh man. Now I am VERY jealous of the buyer of the item. Metal buttons seem perfect for the shirt, easier to pop off compared to the Corozo buttons and also more durable! And that distinct Herringbone... Damn, I really would've liked to have that shirt in my wardrobe, as an alternative to the Wabi Sabi. Buyer, you are lucky. I at least know what I wanted though. $60 is such a good price T_T (I know I can probably order one from Indiogene, but I want it at that price!) OP, I might end up buying that Khaki pair from you. I'm just not sure since it's heavy, and Jomers might come out with something that make me change my mind... IDK really. How does the pair feel? Does it feel like duck canvas or anything? Crameton fabric? Sorry to hear that your order didn't go through. That Lawless Denim fiasco was just a mess. Good to know that you got his one at least! Did you and the buyer have to haggle at all or was that the price? Because I would've probably snagged it if I had the chance

The chinos are not that thick, they are only 8oz they feel like normal chinos that are well made to me.
The shirt was sold cheap bc I had used it and then washed it, so it was used and then also the LD fiasco isnt really dragging the price up, and I know its kinda short since I asked them to shave 1" off the length.
My understanding is that both Manny and Ciano is out of that fabric, otherwise I would have had a new one made myself, no matter the price I gotta have this fabric as a shirt. It looks much better irl also then the pics hehe it has a little bit of a sheene just enough to make it look good. You can see it on the cuff of the right arm in he last pic. The weft is also more brown looking irl and its very nice.

I'm just struggling between deciding to get this one, or the Khaki Cramerton from Jomers really, since they're both lightweight. I honestly don't know... Oh man. That fabric looks amazing. Shame that they can't make any more of the shirt! It looks great even in pictures, I can just imagine how well it looks under sunlight.

New to the forum and just stumbled on the for sale section. Griffin, I'll take the navy (if it hasn't been sold yet) and possibly the khaki as well. Let me know if they're still available.
