So I wasn't impressed with the fit of the uhfs. They seem really short.. Yeah what size? That seems odd as IIRC you're about an average height. I'm 6' and the XLs are good for me. Medium. 5'9. They're quite a bit shorter than every other flannel I own. Maybe its my beer gut holding them up.

I don't enjoy the fit of Samurai's shirts because they are too short--'Still Pimpin'--(boxy fit) Over 28.5 inches and under 30.25 is my sweet spot--this measurement can make or break a shirt for me (talking about you Freenote Cloth) I think I remember Giles of IHUK preferring longer length on the shirt's bodies, so you aren't alone

Even with those photos, those shirts look good, man: Black is classic and rugged, while blue is more 'modern' and POPs! All photos matter! Even sub par photos give a different light/perspective to potential buyers and fanboys alike...Keep em coming!

I think 29.5" or around that mark is my sweet spot. I agree about FN -- quite possible the worst fitting shirt i've ever owned. I don't know what the hell they were thinking but their shirts are too long and blousey, as in they're either designed for extremely tall guys are meant to be tucked in, which is odd because their style is very casual. i'll never buy from them again that's for sure.

Sucks too, cause their fabrics really stand out, even when compared to other boutique brands. Yeah it's not just the length that i have issues with--too roomy in general

oh man gotta stay out of here before I fall into the IH rabbit hole...only thing preventing me to order is saving money and that I have to much crap in the closet already. If i can do 10 things out of the closet, maybe I will consider it.

No me gusta! i'll post my impressions when my shirt arrives. I'm excited about it but part of me already knows that I may not be able to wear the UHF with any frequency until it starts getting really cold. I'm wearing my Filson flannel today and sweating like a pig already. It doesn't help that i'm like a furnace which is why lighterweight flannels have always served me well.

If you're just sitting around in a 68 degree house its pretty good. If you start doing anything, you get hot in a hurry. I could see wearing this shirt over a T while shoveling snow in the 20-30 degree range and be comfortable.

That's what scares me about these and the heavier UES ones. We get about two or three days a year like that.

To borrow (and slightly alter) a quote: "everything in the tundra adapts" My son, who unlike me, was born in Minnesota, sees nothing wrong with wearing shorts when it's 30 degrees out and playing hockey in a T-shirt.

I used to wear shorts in 30 degree weather it's funny to me that 40 degrees in MN is considered a heat wave.

I'm a Phoenix native and last night I wore my black IHSH107 UHF when I walked the dogs. I think it was high 50s/low 60s? Mid to low 60s is getting chilly for me lol

I'm less sure about the red 155 crazy checks, than my first impression. I'll give it more time to grow on me, but I may be letting this one go...

Yes, the color is very Vibrant! And the pattern doesnt hold a candle to the other two. With the overabundance of IH flannels that I am enamored with, it just makes sense to let this one fly. But ill give it a few wks to make sure im certain.
