disheveled they look awesome. Blue looks as good as I imagined and actually the red looks better than I thought. Black looks great too...actually looks more like a charcoal??? Yes, the black does have a washed muted tone to it, which immediately caught my eye too. This shirt looks way better than I was imagining. The red is as vibrant as it comes and blue has a great tone to its color.

The fit is spot on and they are very different than the other IH flannels but time always tells.

The Rakuten prices for the 155 don't seem that great. I've had IH shirts for $150 from RB, which I thought was a decent deal. At $216 plus the $30 for shipping, it gets to be less of a good deal. That was before brexit, no? I've been looking at it this way, the going price for tops from US makers tends to be between $200-220, often for pieces that have crappy fits or whatever, so all of a sudden $250 for an IH flannel doesn't seem so bad Not a brexit thing. Its the Yen appreciating against the Dollar. The price I paid for the UHF I picked up last year was the same price in Yen, but a Dollar purchased 123 Yen. Today a Dollar buys about 104 Yen. The recent UHF will run about $30-$35 Dollars more than last years. I figure this last purchase should be my last, as I've got a few now, and will force myself to stop looking at the Rodeo Bros website, lol When it comes to a very heavy flannel, there are none available here in the US that compares, and I agree that everything I've seen fits poorly.

the 155's have been restocked on RB No update on my EMS--containing my 155s--since 10/30, when it departed Toyko. I was hoping they'd show up today, but we may be looking at Fri at this point. Anyone get theirs, yet? Any real world photos out there? Mine shipped the 28th, and hit LA Customs on the 30th. From my last order, two business days after that it arrived, so I'm gonna start getting annoyed or potentially worried if it doesn't show tomorrow. I think it's about 36 hours after Rodeo Bros asks you if you've received it yet. Which would be another indication that it's almost here.

UHF are on the pricier side of IH's shirts. RB still has IH shirts below $150 USD. I don't think the UHFs were ever much under $190 These shirts are under-priced, in my mind, for the quality/value you get. Style/Fit/Construction/Material on all 4 of those ^^ areas, IH is unmatched (in my mind)

Especially considering many other Japanese brands are FAR MORE EXPENSIVE, and don't fit most of us Westerners.
TFH prices are pretty high, even in ¥. PBJ as well..... I think dollar for dollar, IH gives the most bang for MY buck

This will be my last heavy shirt for a while, but I'm getting the black 155. It's too cool to pass on for me.

I'm still trying to stick it out for one of the solid color UHF CPO's..... I'm 90% sure I'll be able to get the Blue/Cream on special in a few months, as it seems the non-traditional buffalo check UHF colorways never sell very well.

This will probably be the last of my purchases for this year based on what I can remember is coming down the pipeline. I might pick up a solid UHF...but can't think of anything I want until the new 129 comes.
that being said there are some shirts I still want to get that have already been dropped....like that damn IndigoxIndigo 10oz western...can't remember the designation...

Yea, OK...never heard that before on this site I just signed up for Social Security yesterday, and I'm older and more disciplined than the younger bucks here. I haven't looked at RBs since my above post, but will continue to view the IH porn on this thread. Like I tell my wife, I can look, but not touch.

On a side note, I caved and ordered the 130 grey/black ombre from RB thanks to you enabling bastards

I have yet to read any negative reviews of IH shirts, so this will all be new to me. If everything checks out I think this will be the start of a new addiction and it may be difficult for me to try other brands. as for the 127vs in purple, I honestly don't know if I can do purple, but that's because I live in Minnesota and purple is associated with the MN Vikings and Prince. I really do like the 129 in both colorways. I could be swayed to buy one of them if SE has another sale.

I picked up my black 155 this morning from the post office. My first IH piece. OK. Now I get it. These shirts are over the top in every way. The color, more of a charcoal, is great. The fabric is super burly, but super soft, especially on the inside. The fit is outstanding. Clearly, I don't have any other shirts that are as heavy, but even those in the 5-7 oz. range (what I would have called heavy before I got this shirt) don't fit me nearly as well. I'm at work now, looking forward to getting home so I can put it on.
What I am not entirely sure of is how much more IH stuff I'll buy. As I said, most IH stuff is not something I could wear to work, so this shirt will fill a very particular niche for me (weekends in fall/winter/spring). I don't have that collector spirit as much as some others on this forum, but we'll see. The 129 could sway me. Either way, thanks to all who brought this brand to my attention. I'm very happy I picked it up.

I'm very happy I picked it up. how long did it take for yours to reach MN? I placed the order midday on October 27. I got an email from Mihara that evening around 9:00 confirming the order and making sure I was OK with the ~$30 shipping. They got to Chicago customs October 29 and there was an attempted delivery to my house yesterday (November 1). You have to sign for it and I wasn't home, so I picked it up at the post office this morning (November 2). So, 5-6 days. Not too shabby.
