Nice shirt. Anyone wear a wool shirt? How's it feel? I have one made by the Jean Maker but use it as an over shirt-jac. If these are lighter weight, how do you think they'll look? To Heavy for an indoor shirt? That's what I'm wondering DigDug. I have never owned a wool shirt in my life...tried on some Pendletons but that's it. I would imagine these would have to be much to warm for me in Az as I would think they would be warmer than the UHFs but I'm not sure. Anybody who can chime in on wool shirts? |

Knowing IH, these look to be fairly substantial, ie. 14-18oz. but could be heavier, as its hard to tell from the pic. I've got a couple CPO wool shirts that are 16oz, and for me that's about as heavy I want to go for a shirt over a T. Heavier than that and I put it in the shacket category. I've got a couple of 40+ year old Pendleton's that are in excellent shape, that my mother gifted me as a young man, and wear them often, and would put them up against anything made nowadays . I'd say the Pendleton's are comparable to a 10oz IH flannel in terms of warmth. I'd say my 16oz CPO in warmth is equal, or slighty warmer than a UHF. I would only be temped for the IH wool, if it were a cool tartan, or blackwatch. |

The sizing chart on the 155 seems weird. An XL would be 74 cm, which converts to a 29 inch pit to pit. That seems big, no? I wear XL in most brands and the pit to pit seems to be in the 23-25 inch range. The length also seems really short on an XL. 58 cm converts to 22 inches. I understand this shirt isn't tucked, but that's like 10 inches shorter than most of my shirts. Oh IH lords...explain!!

Oh. It would seem the rodeo bros. site has the length and width reversed in the sizing guide. That makes more sense. So if I wear a G XL slim, I'd probably go for a XXL in this shirt, right?

OK, I just pulled the trigger on the XXL 155 in black from Rodeo Bros. My first IH purchase. I'm kind of giddy. This is how it begins I suppose. Rodeo Bros was a super easy site to order from.
