I'm looking at the newly-dropped V-neck Ts on RB, and am having a really hard time deciding whether the width of collar ribbing makes them look like scrub-tops or if it's just me.

Not a fan of the V necks. The regular crew is sweet but if I pay that much Macklemore would be upset with me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They do look like scrubs... And, I just hate pocket t-shirts anyway. V-neck pocket t-shirts is seriously a huge clothing bastardization, lol. Why not just wear a short sleeve button up?!? Lol

Yep, not digging the V necks either.
I did get my 1600's in today though and I have to say that I really like them. Wasn't sure how I'd like them or not since they are basically a short sleeve sweatshirt IMO but they are great. I picked up a white and black one. I would buy more colors as well if/when they make them.

Giving it a definite sweatshirt look and pricing was very similar. IH needs more things like this that are a little unique. A little less same thing, different fabric approach. I'd buy more of it. Most of the SS16 releases have been off for me.

Most of the SS16 releases have been off for me. well...that's exactly what the 1600 is though. Same thing (A t shirt) with a different fabric. I also think that IH puts out a ton of fabrics that are extremely unique, you can't find them anywhere else and they stand out and get you compliments . Sure they definitely have their "basic" fabrics that are classic and can be found by many other brands (buffalo checks for example). I agree that the 1600 doesn't really look like a short sleeve sweatshirt from a third person, it just looks like a nice thick T shirt IMO. I'm really pleasantly surprised by these things, I do really like them. I tried my black one on last night right when I opened the box from RB and I never took it off. Wore for the rest of night. Great shirts. The red W on the bottom is a nice touch.

No, it's a short sleeve sweatshirt/t shirt/sweater. A whole new beast!

@61scout - isn't a short-sleeve sweatshirt/sweater a bit of an oxymoron?

Jdub6 - you think the rate will get better? As in more favorable for USD. IDK lol. From what I read, there may be some governmental intervention to come. Trying to figure out forecasting quantification currently. Good lord, what have you done to me IH.

It's still a good exchange for the USD just not as good as it was in jan/feb

The weak ¥ was all artificial, for the past 2-3yrs basically. It was done intentionally to stimulate the Japanese economy with foreign money. Literally, when I first got to Japan, the exchange rate was like 102, then 3 months later it was at like 125.

Jdub6 - you think the rate will get better? As in more favorable for USD. After the Fed raised interest rates last December, the perception was that was the start of more rate hikes to come this year, which was causing dollar strength against foreign currencies. With weak GDP growth, it has kind of put the Feds strategy on hold, which started the reversal of the dollar. The yen/dollar relationship is still pretty good, compared to a couple 2-3 years ago, but I think in the short term, if you have something you want to buy from Japan, it might get a bit more expensive to wait in the short term.

But not it's more the dollar losing ground.

Funny mortgage rates jumped a bit last year in preparation of the rate hike in December. Rates then went up a little more but now are dropping back down. I hope to get 3.4% for a 30fixed.

Yeah, it's a genius strategy for a country that exports far more than it imports. "Economy needs stimulation? Let the rest of the world do it for us!!!"

My prediction is that we will see an improvement in the US economy after the election this Fall, no matter which joker is elected, although, some prospects will be better for business than others.

Thanks for the insight fellas. Yeah, the question remains whether to buy a bunch of their thermals now or wait till fall and risk inventory and and poorer exchange rate. Not too big a deal. Just annoying as I was dicking around and could of saved $50. Probs gonna just buy some used Badalassi Lofgrens engineers after selling my Oculus Rift as their is no support for Iracing yet and call it a day:).
