Yea, I have to draw the line at that shirt, geesh! I guess you have to be a Japanese biker to appreciate that one, as I can't fathom anyone around my parts sporting this on their bike.

Too bad it is not the herringbone, that subtle detail adds a lot to the green version, still looking forward to it, and hopefully the fabric won't be quite as pricey either. Also wish the IH tag on the pocket was black/grey/navy instead of stand out red, but far from a deal breaker. |

They are both indeed tells, but the most I can find is that "denim is typically heavier"..... They're both twills, but I don't know if one is always a 3x1 and one is always a 2x1 or whatnot. Denim typically has a stronger twill line, but a heavy twill and a light denim can end up looking identical. Comparing the closeup to the Gustin jeans I have, there may be a difference. Can't really know unless I end up getting the same chinos, I guess. You're probably right that they're different, but the color and heathering of the warp looks almost identical. |
