Is Roman asking what he should make with these special denims or is he asking logistically?

I have to say I really like the khaki canvas pants. I have always been fond of the Carhartt heavy canvas, but the double front loggers that I use for chainsawing, and such, don't really cut it for plain old casual wear. Besides, I live in an area in the Pacific Northwest, where folks still work in the woods, and on any given day, you see multitudes of people with Carhartt gear. Great stuff mind you, but very commonplace. It would be boss to get this heavy canvas, with the Lawless touch to it.

Love those khaki canvas jeans...very excited to see similar materials appear.
all this talk of new careers and logistical/process challenges has me thinking of shifting my focus away from it.

I have access to the best denims from around the world. The question is how do we do it with out sitting on 100K of denim. Looking for some ideas on how to bring in these Denims. Denims that are hard to find and very limited quantities. Any Ideas? Dang dude, that's tough. It might sound silly, but it would seem to me that you cannot underestimate the power and importance of your brand's visual identity in social media. Another brother mentioned having an email list. I think that's a solid start! The other question is how to you get your foot into other significant shreds of social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc. and reel in the denim heads? I don't know the details of that answer, but I think it has to do with consistent and powerful visual branding. Which it looks like you guys are on the road towards...

Thinking holistically, there're only so many pairs of denim people can actually wear - especially when we're wearing these day in and day out so they feel like a second skin. That forces me to look elsewhere for how'd I'd like to use denim. Shirts are obviously key. I have more shirts than I do pants. Jackets/coats is another area I haven't invested much in denim.
Going down those paths, variety and color become needed. So great textures and things to pair with my denim is what I'll start looking for.

Hi, stupid question from a newbie. Where can I see what's on offer from Lawless. All I see is a site that's not ready and a KS site that may or may not be closed.
Also, a question for Roman - will you combine orders for cheaper international postage and customs duty? I'm at 15 individual items from Gustin and the separate postages, duties and handling charges are really hurting.

It sounds like we'll be able to see the offerings in a few days- they're currently working hard at the new website!

The KS is a good place to see the fits and a good sample of the denims (updates - pages 8-10). When the website is back up and running, it has all of the details that he had on the KS.

Bringing in the correct "Denim Head" is tricky. There are denim heads who take one look at denim with leather detailed jackets & run immediately. The key thing is to NOT make everything people want. He needs to draw the line with certain stuff so it doesnt become gimmicky . Thats just my opinion

I would compliment Roman's social presence thus far (FB, Instagram) and how he is staying true to his brand with some of the creative elements he incorporates. I do think he's referencing more how to promote/deliver the rare denims that he can gain access to, while also communicating the scarcity or value of the particular denim. Both Cole and Dirty are making great points, I think Roman's going to get a lot of good ideas from this group.

Frankly, I think the best thing that Roman/LD has going is the openness and willingness to communicate with current and future buyers. From what I've read here and other places, he responds to both the positives and the negatives, and has no issues with providing a mea culpa or addressing snags/problems in a public manner. I think people respect you more when you don't hide from problems, as that is the true test of character.
There's a transparency here that I really dig.
I'm excited to get my first pair, and even more excited for the ones that follow.

Roman won't have some of the inherent 'thrill' that the crowdsource model has, but his open communication and customization model will fill any void left there easily.

I'm hoping to stop by the LD shop today, if I can sneak out of the office early enough. See if there's any new fabrics to pass along to the group.
