Not sure where to post this, but it's an interesting video with only 116 views since it was posted in 10 months ago: I'd venture a guess that this is more of the same, and appears to pre-date 10 months ago. The wheels were well off the wagon by last February (they were onto website #2 I believe at that point), just go back and look at the LD thread at that time - it was Sal trying to keep the uprising under control (and he was the only one working). It's pretty much the same argument (blaming Arizona for not funding them, when they had thousands here and elsewhere funding them). I'd be curious to know how much they wasted on these puff pieces when it could've gone into issuing refunds, or outsourcing to finish up some of the backlog. Anyway, the mods have stated it best - this thread exists "if" they ever decide to honor the orders. Otherwise, there's no point in rehashing or discussing anything on this topic. Idea: we should create a folder called "Defunct Brands" that can highlight fades/wear from brands. I think we can certainly consider LD and all it's iterations as "defunct" at this point.

The mods should bury the LD thread into some category that makes it clear they're no longer a company nor brand. It's silly letting them keep a thread on the main board with the other legit brands - pretending there's any chance of them ever righting the ship.

I believe this thread (and the other LD threads) needs to be a sticky instead of been drawn from the main page, drawn from the interest of hundreds of people LD owns money, a product or at least an honest excuse.
They should not get away that easy, I don't wanna forget about them, let this be a warning sign or a reminder to all those buyers and sellers to follow.

It leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth and while we certainly want to facilitate anyone getting a resolution, we also don't want this space to be focused on it. Anyone looking for info can search and find it here. Google mainly shows this site for info regarding LD. That's enough I think. It's already a black eye on the whole cottage industry of this type of business, and it's used way too much space here. I don't foresee the info getting lost. I'm just sick of it as most are and would rather it live as a less-focused area here. The purpose of S&S isn't to take care of the mess that LD created.

I forgot that the WWW will never forget anything and we can focus now here on the things we love. I do agree for your Points and cleraly understand. I did Forget that the WWW will NEVER forget anything that is written or posted.
So let´s focus on the things we all love and move on.

I hate the idea of burying because I think that would make Laura and Roman breathe a sign of relief that we've given up and forgotten about them, but on the other hand they don't deserve top billing here any longer.

I've been off the selvedge scene since I got my Lawless jeans, and about a year ago I meant to send my jeans back to get the patch put on them, and I forgot. Funny enough, my fault, and my jeans were perfect, other than missing the "Samurai" patch on them. Sounds like they've been a nightmare to work with. Sorry to hear you all got so screwed on these.
While I know this is probably lacking tact, since my Lawless jeans actually arrived, but I hate having no patch on my black on black jeans. Can anybody here recommend a good place to buy just a patch? I'd like to get a nice black patch for them, too bad I can't get that samurai patch, as it was pretty cool looking.

Tandy leather would be a good place to get a plain leather rectangle that you could sew or have sewn on. They normally sell by the hides, but there's usually a scrap bin. You could buy some metal stamps to decorate the patch too if you wanted to.
