Phew! That's expensive for just putting aglets on paradise..... I use paradise in a couple of pairs of my boots (Old habit..... Was in the Army.), And literally, you only need to hear the ends of the paradise with a lighter to make it start to melt, then pinch it in to shape... The joys of nylon. It's a bit more complicated than that. :-) One of the things that separates us from the rest is the fact we use REAL military paracord. Also, our metal tips don't come off just by a little pressure of a fingernail. The tips are bound to the laces using a special process and then cleaned up and oiled to really make them shine. I would be happy to send you a pair at no cost to try out. We always love getting feedback from our customers! They also come with a lifetime warranty. But in all honesty, in 2 years, we've had 3 warranty claims. All 3 were from eyelets that had sharpened over time and sliced through the laces. If you know anything about paracord, you know it's very hard to break by tension. Let me know what you think, pm me, and I'll send you a 100% off discount code so you can try them out. Feel free to start a thread and or post a link to your wares. We love having representatives on the forum.

I really like the woodland camo. I think those would look great on black boots. How long before you have those in stock?

RE: Nicks. If you guys want them for winter better order now. I just got my shipping notice yesterday for my Nicks. Order placed 10/02/2015 - Shipping notice 05/12/2016 so 31 weeks, 1 week shy of 8 months. ouch. did you order those through Nick's directly? i've got a pair of oxfords ordered through baker's...which is coming up on 18 weeks...4-6 past the original estimate. i'm sure they'll be great, but may have reconsidered had i known it may be 6-8 months before receiving them. i received a shipping notice yesterday for my oxfords. 22 weeks from the order date. 8-10 more than anticipated...but a least they should be on their way.

I've been wearing my White's for awhile and they are damn uncomfortable. Having them stretched to see if that helps.

I've been wearing my White's for awhile and they are damn uncomfortable. Having them stretched to see if that helps. Sounds like they either just don't work for your feet, or the sizing isn't right. I have a couple pair of White's, and they are awesome. White's will make a custom last if a person has a foot that doesn't work with their standard last, but there is an upcharge for doing so. They keep your custom on file, in case you want something down the road. Good luck with the stretch.

Stretching should alleviate the issue.

Guys 12.5 Truman Coyote Roughout with perforated captoe he has for sale. via. GYW. These seem to be a really good choice for an all weather, snow and rain boot. I've been thinking about buying them for awhile for a fall winter boot. In my mind it's Waxed Flesh, Coyote Roughout and Zug Grain for that purpose.

exophobe, Red Wing Sole Material Defender. I'm not sure that you get quite as cool of a character as the G Defender. Boy was I wrong, you even get a bird!

That misinformation kept me out of a pair of iron rangers for a good nine months until I researched it, so I guess I'm sensitive to it. Think of all that evo lost!

So I got my Iron Rangers yesterday. They are probably my favorite boots. I like them better than my Whites for sure.
