I'm really surprised no one has mentioned the utility work shirts yet. IMO they are the best thing from the drop this season. I may be alone in this but I dislike the jumpers and the westerns. I have never liked the rounded pockets on most of their stuff (though I made an exception for the brown chambray jumper) so I'm glad to see they have a couple options without. Now I just have to sell some stuff so I can grab one.

i did mention them. they were lumped in with everything else that made me yawn and roll back over to go to sleep. not a fan of the material...still holding out for denim.

I'll forgive you for that. I agree on the denim though. I just grabbed a pair of the expeditions from BOW and I would kill my mother for a utility work shirt in the expedition denim.

yeah, they're some awesome jeans. looking forward to getting some wear on them when october rolls around.
just not digging the flannel on the jumper though, not sure why. think the pockets are looking a little too high and the flannel reminds me of the texture in the traveler shirt which i love but already have.

What do you guys like about the SK fit over the Stanton? I've been debating between the two. Obviously the SK is a slimmer fit but what makes the Stanton so bad?

stanton's not bad at all. not by any means.
it all depends on what fit you're after.

Agreed, Stanton is one of the best straight fits I've found. But SK is the only slim fit that I've found that has a reasonable rise.

stanton's not bad at all. not by any means. it all depends on what fit you're after. I've started to gravitate toward a narrower cuff, but the SK's hit the 7.25" mark which is too narrow for me. I'm thinking anything between 7.5-7.75 is good

RgT uses a lock stitched inseam, so they're easy to have tapered. A few of the guys where I bought mine have had their Stantons tapered.

FYI fellers, it's been confirmed by Giles that the RT western flannel fabrics are NOT the same fabrics as the upcoming Iron Heart Ombre flannels.

Like almost all IH fabrics the Ombre Flannel fabrics are made exclusively for Iron Heart. The IH Ombres are 12oz where the RT westerns are 10. Also I think the patterns and shades of red and blue are slightly different

I'd be all over the gray western, if I wasn't so unsure about the fit and shrink.

Damn...y'alls be trippin!! The IH Ombres look bad ass and yeah I think that's probably true bugula, if Dickies made flannels (which they do btw) they might be similar to the Ombres which is probably why I like them. I grew up wearing Dickies, tops and bottoms.

Actually you bring up an interesting point bugula, there are several IH items that are very Dickies esque which makes absolute sense considering they are a work wear line. The IH-707 Work Chinos scream Dickies...the IHSH-21 heavy chambray shouts Dickies very loudly..lol..probably why I'm drawn to them so much.

Ehh...true for some of the shirts yeah but I honestly don't think a lot of their WS are extremely boxy, some more so than others yeah...but again makes sense considering they are work wear.
