Wore my chambray shirt the other day for like an hour. My dad liked it on me and i like how I can pretend I'm superman when I unbutton the snaps quickly
Currently, wearing my 18.5oz jeans from Manny today and i like it a lot. Never wore anything thicker than 14.5oz but I understand the sentiments for heavier denim.

Manny just sent me some photos of the sample for the custom vest I'm having made and I can't wait to see the final product.

A custom vest I asked Manny to make based on a RRL vest. Will hopefully have it by Tuesday. That looks fantastic, be sure to report back on how awesome it is.

Is it the same 13.5oz wabash that CF uses? Looks it. It's a very classy style.

@untucked yep! I asked Manny to work this up and I am so excited to get it on Monday. I'll have to see if I can get someone to snap some pics. I am also expecting my Japan Blue IndigoxIndigo Cote D'ivoire on Monday.

So I got it today. Fantastic construction and I love the overall look. It fits, but it is a little long (1.5 inches) and a little snug (1.5 inches, cinch has to be at maximum length). I can fit both hands in on either side of the waist opening at the same time, so maybe it isn't too snug. I don't know. But I do know that the vest overlaps the pants by about 1.5 to 2 inches in the back and I'm pretty sure it is just supposed to touch the waist or be a little above the waist in the back. I'm going to send this one back to Manny and see if he can either adjust it or remake it. I'll take measurements when I get home on the off chance that he has to do a remake and would have this one for immediate sale. Maybe it will fit @untucked

Maybe it will fit @untucked I like how it looks and with a matching pair of pants retro cool. Not sure how I feel about lapels on vests. Is it normal for when you won't wear it with a jacket? All of my work vests just cover the belt. The one three piece suit I have, the vest is above the belt in back and covers in the front. Seems like it depends on how you plan on wearing it.

Manny's fits seem spot on. How long do their orders take? Are the denims listed on his site rtw?

Manny says 7-10 days on the website but its realistically more like 3-4 business weeks for all the stuff I ordered albeit, I asked for some custom stuff especially the tactical workshirts. I think most of his denims are on the website, but you can email and he could let you know. Lots of people ask my dad where he got his workshirt from and he tells them go to Sears quick before they sell out lol.

I took my indogogene mariner vest on a recent trip to Bora Bora (my honeymoon!) and we had a plunge pool made of rough-finished stones (granite maybe?) that I ended up using as a denim distressing pool. The sun there is super intense so I started soaking the vest in the pool and then laying out it to fade in the sun just to get some sun fades. I did this for several days but eventually just went for the total distressed look by rubbing the vest against the stones in the plunge pool. I think the results are great and like the vest way better but am interested in hearing everyone's thoughts on purposefully distressing your denim. This isn't something I would do for every type of clothing but for me vests wear in slowly and have little wear-induced fades so seemed like a good candidate for this. Before and after pics below Before After
