DigDug, looks good. What's the verdict compared to others? Very initial thoughts. WooHoo!!! Very well made! Mannys the Man. Love the Fit, style, fabric, construction seems great. One small negative, buttons are to small for such a thick fabric. Not a big deal (I had the same concern on a few other shirt brands). The whole experience working with the JeanMaker was very enjoyable. It wasn't just buying a shirt online.

It has to be a little itchy, the pendeltons I have are, but with a tshirt underneath how bad is it against the arms?
How thick is it really....it looks kinda extreme!?
Please tell us all the customisations you did (if any) like is the opening cut standard? (looks good).
And yeah, fitpics! For the love of all things that is holy fitpics for the win!

I only wore it for a few minutes (had some messy work to do and didn't want to wreck it in the first hour of wear). I'm not to sensitive to wool, so I didn't find it to bad. But ask me after a few hours of wear, I might think differently. It definitely a Jac/shirt. I wouldn't wear it laying around the house. But if I knew I would be in and out of the house a lot, It'd be comfortable as a shirt. But the shirt I had on (WABASH!) layered fine under it fine.

I didn't pic a size, I simple gave the JeanMaker the sizes from a shirt that fits me well. Has far as customizing, I just asked to make it look like LD's, give it Gussets and RunOff, 2 buttons on the cuffs, cats eye buttons. As Manny was making it the other nite, he would send pics and any questions (it was like I was there watching it being made). What color liner, what color thread on to use on the buttons, etc.

I wonder (and I'm no expert) if doing that helps with the way the arm bends. The fabric panel between the two seems sits right where my elbow is. I wonder if by putting a separate panel it allows for more flex, putting the pressure/bend only on that fabric panel allowing the rest of the sleeve to move more freely.

We compared it to my Lawless era shirt, which did not have the extra panel.

My question to Manny is, can you do trucker jackets? If so, can you do a type 3, what fabrics can you get and what would it cost?
I know you nerds want one

I want a vintage one too, but I'd like something that sits lower on the waist. My cheap Levis waxed trucker is the perfect fit for me and sits just below my belt.
