Looking really promising! Will there be any plans to work on a skinny/ more tapered pattern in the near future? I'm eager to jump on board but unfortunately I'm a really thin dude can i get your measures ? and of course we did a skinny fit< the only thing we will need to be sure of is if its a good size chart for anyone so send me your measures and I will check my samples and then Ill let you know if i have something ready for you. I would be closest to your size 28, measurements are close to perfect for me. How far down is the thigh measurement taken? My best fitting pair of jeans measure 10.5" at 2" down, but otherwise almost identical

I think it looks badass, but you might consider only single stitching the W on the pocket. Ive never seen a double stitch here and it looks a little off to me. But this is just me, let others chime in. completely agree. gets busy with the snaps but looking good.

completely agree. gets busy with the snaps but looking good. Thank you for the comment, I will think about that. I think the shirt is looking great overall. I've came to the conclusion that sawtooth pockets aren't for me. I would keep the double stitching for the traditional single pointed flap western shirt pocket like this. You might have sewed it. I think the double stitching could possibly work for sawtooth but the snap is too low should be moved up so it is not on top of the stitching. My Flat Head shirt does have a single stitching on the Sawtooth pocket. The Levi's sawtooth pocket is the single also these are probably the most popular of the style that I have seen. Sizing and the placement of the pockets is important also. I had an issue with a past shirt as they put on too small of pockets ended up being women's sized pockets on a men's shirt didn't look good. Also the pockets were spread out too close to the armputs instead of being centered between the center snap and armpits. Here is a picture of my Flat Head pocket showing single stitching. The right bottom of the pocket looks like it isn't symmetrical but it is, just the way the picture came out.

these is the TOMBSTONE shirt also we will to do some little changes and soon we have our size chart ready and tomorrow I will have other 2 more styles but i want to do different pockets samples to my customers to show different options, snap on collar is optional, snaps, thread color can be chosen by the customers Personally the snap on the back of the collar and the pointy design doesn't work for me. Wondering what others think?

I agree with pointy and snap back not working for me but I'm not one who can pull off the western style shirts anyway so I'll leave it to others to decide. I have my black/blacks coming in soon. I was hoping today but might now happen. I'd like to see the other style options he has in mind.

It caused a lot of issues for someone else recently as we know. I would take from a couple of the more popular brands like Iron Heart and Gustin as to their measuring systems. Essentially the sizing dimensions listed is the exact sizing you get. Certain fabrics are oversized a little to take in consideration that they shrink a lot. Have seen this mostly with Iron Heart.

Nice but now i see one more thing. Again this is just me but the opening after the doubble buttons on the cuff seems small. I really need to be able to fold and scrunch a shirt over my elbows no matter if working or not since our climate is very variated. So my tip is to either make it slightly larger slice or much larger and add a small button, test it out and see if you can fold and scrunch over elbow?

Wondering what others think? I like the point in the rear collar. But not the button. The button draws too much attention to the point. Let the point be subtle. Also the button has no practical value. When does the back of a collar come up? Never. Nice to see the shirts coming along. Are these for sale yet? Point me to a website? Edit: I see the rear collar button is optional, so never mind on the comments above.

I didn't like them until I realized they were little owls.

Personally the snap on the back of the collar and the pointy design doesn't work for me. Wondering what others think? I like the point on the back of the collar but I think it would make me self-conscious as overall the point gives it more of a vampire vibe than I guess I'm comfortable with.

Essentially the sizing dimensions listed is the exact sizing you get. Certain fabrics are oversized a little to take in consideration that they shrink a lot. Have seen this mostly with Iron Heart. Just pick one that has a guide to how they measure, otherwise write your own. People have trouble once you start using a fabric tape exclusively to determine measurements, so something that doesn't require someone to help, and lets you measure something you know you already like seems to see the highest adoption. I think the way Gustin advises seems to be pretty foolproof, so long as the garments come out matching the provided guide. Also, a bit of an internet no-no to steal it, so as you're getting started I would just refer, especially around here, to "measured a la Gustin" or whatever, rather than snatching their instructions. Once you're up and in a rhythm looking to expand, I'd invest the time in re-writing your own, and adjust if you've found anything amiss.

Hey Manny - thanks. Would like to get the 16oz again, personally I'm not a fan of Cone Mills. So is the pair you sent off spec or is it a measurements issue in that I gave you ones that you used but in a different manner than I provided? I will drop these off this morning but greatly appreciate you sending them. I'll hold off and take photos of the replacement pair!

i just measured the thighs and that is where the issue is - like you said, you measure out from the crotch and most of us are used to the 2" down method.
i'll have to take a look at your charts again to see if there is a different size that will work but i have a feeling i'd have to go up quite a bit in the waist to make it happen so the fits might not work for me.
thanks again.

I really think my jeans should be in today but USPS has taken more than 36 hours to update their arrival to the local post office even though it's only a 15 min drive from the major hub.

I had the same problem. My jeans sat in the Phoenix post office for more than 2 days. It's amaazing that I get packages from Japan faster than the next town.
