looks wild AF. But it's Studio D'Art. Their fits will never work for me until I go on a prison camp diet. You could say that about a lot of Japanese brands. It's for this reason I haven't tried The Flat Head. I swear their shirts are sewn for dudes with girls bodies

I remember they had FUBU in Korea, but it was a metrosexual version of FUBU. I could barely fit in their XLs, and I remember M being way too big on me in the States.

That shirt is sick! I just ordered my first SDA shirt, depending on how it fits, there could definitely be more from them in my future.

Received the black heavyweight hoodie and a pair of righteous SL-120x's via the SelfEdge 16% off sale. Hoodie is great. Actually better than I expected. Super heavy and the zipper is fing great (something should be tits for a damn hoodie costing this much;). Definitely would trade this for my PBJ (their swag is too small). The SL-120 are totally awesome. Interesting comping them to the recently rx'ed IH-634S-B (overdyed).Yes totally different animals but nonetheless interesting as there is very little dark kick ass denim out there(i.e.,same old indigo). First of all, 3sixteen's SL fit is fing dope. I pretty much match the Rivet and Hyde picture in stature with 33's and they are perfect slim straight fit. Just look at that fit. The 634's since wearing them are too fing baggy below the knee. Even a size down have the same specs essentially. I believe I could fit two of my normal if not meaty calves in there. The shadow selvedge needs no introduction. Pretty awesome. Nothing special with build quality for sure comparing to ole IH:)Hoping the IH 777 fit is more akin to the above. We'll see. Seems like a bit more taper.

Jdub6 you might want to try Rogue Territory's Stanton fit if you're ever looking for other options with a similar fit to your 3sixteens (if you haven't already). Just fyi. Looks to be a similar fit. I don't own any 3sixteens but the Stanton fit is my favorite fit so far, think you would probably dig it.

I think the SL fit is ideal for bigger/taller fellas. My first pair of 3sixteen were the SL-120x and I've barely worn them. The hem is freaking huge...about 8.25" which are practically bell bottoms on my frame. I've since moved onto the st fit.

another oddity i've noticed with my st-100x is that even though they're advertised as 14.5oz, they feel lighter like maybe they're 11oz or 12oz. It could be that they don't have as much starch in them but I found that hard to believe. I'm basing this purely off of touch and feel when compared to other jeans I have that are in the 14oz range or higher.

Good input fellas. There is simply no replacing my IH jeans, however, after putting in a bunch of time in 666S-21, 666-19L, 666UHR, and now 634S-B, there is no denying considerable variance in fit/specs. Yeah the 634S-B hem at 9" is less than ideal IMHO and it doesn't change from 34 to 33. It does appear congruent with other 634 fits. It is interesting to think of the gripe Gustin receives with their variance considering their model. In hindsight, I'm surprised they have any consistency (idk, own approx. 10 pairs). The 777 certainly has more taper and does appear to be less of an extreme between thigh and knee to hem ala 666 and 634. Hope this helps others.

It's funny I thought the same thing and attributed this to only wearing heavy IH. They do feel pretty light. I stretched the waste at least .5" when first putting them on.

Yeah I wouldn't deny that there are variances in fit/specs at all and I don't think IH does either which is why they list a fit guide for every individual run of an item. This is why I don't gripe about it with IH. Gustin on the other hand just has the one generic fit guide to cover each category. I actually have my first pair of 666's on the way to me now in the new 19oz left hand thread fabric (v. 2.0). I picked these because they were a bit different in terms of the fit guide when compared to most other 666 cuts. How do you like the 666 cut Jdub6? How do you like that 19oz left hand thread fabric? The new version is supposed to be very similar but a bit softer IIRC.

They really couldn't be more transparent with their measurements, etc. It's just interesting purely from a manufacturing standpoint how many variables there are. Gustin is straight gansta/criminal LOL. They truly don't give a f***. Don't know how many jeans I was like WTF?! opening the bag and not even needing to reach for my measure to see they're for a hobbit. Anyways, the 666-19L V1(man you know your out of control when your jeans have versions..) are probably my favorite and one of the coolest looking pairs out there IMHO. They have the most character out of my pairs for sure. They're super dark when new offering great contrast. I'll post a pic in the dedicated thread when I get a chance. I really can't believe they don't get more attention. Additionally, they're one of the sickest looking jeans when washed really frequently allowing the the left hand to come through. I got them in a 36. All others in 34.

A sign of quality Since they are samforized check the chart pick a size and go

Besides the egregious outliers, mine were too (minus loomstates) which resulted in too many pairs:). Gotta say after having these, Gustin is still a pretty kick ass deal in jeans for the most part. The only reason these appealed to me was the proprietary shadow selvedge and great SL fit. Nothing stands out in terms of quality apart from Gustin besides the stitching looking fairly tidy. For me, IH remains a benchmark in quality and value depending on context. These were $200 on sale remaining the cheapest I've seen them from a store (the SL's anyways). These as with the their two crosscut flannels I posted (not on sale) are in the same $ ball park as IH (Rakuten). Yippee Kaizen MF!

I've had slightly different results with my SS16 crosscuts, they were both under spec in the chest which made me not wanna buy their shirts anymore. Love the fabric but the cuffs are really tight and I cant get the shirt on unless I unbutton them. Increased washes will render them unwearable, unless I go on a prison diet. Granted, I got my SS16 crosscuts for $150 and some change each, but for that kinda money I want them to fit me perfectly

I love having a double zip. Being able to just open up the last couple of inches of most of my shells and fleece is awesome when it warms up a little when skiing. Also really handy on a bike.
