Thanks for the info.
Hate to be a lazy bastard, but i am what i am..Theyre not getting customer service off on the right foot. It should all start with a basic helpful site with common sense product info. Why not post it on the site? Seems amateur for a serious company. Not a good first impression for getting new customers. Might sound silly to some, but it really grinds my gears...
I'll email though, just sayin.

you can also google tellason size charts and i think it's either unionmade or blueowl that have measurement guides for the fits they carry.
but you're totally right. just have them there on the damn site.

still confused why they sent you that, i got a pretty easy response with the spreadsheet of the two models i was interested in. Blueowl only is so helpful since most their cuts are skinny

Yeah, thinking about getting the grab bag but I am afraid to get the straight taper..... instead of the slim.

It is strange not to have a size chart for your jeans on your own site. I rely specifically on fit guides so that I'm making an informed purchase. Before buying my 3sixteen SL120x I looked at 3sixteen's fit guide, then Self Edge's fit guide and finally Blue Owl's fit guide. I'd probably show more interest in Tellason if they offered more interesting fabrics but they only seem to carry the basic indigo selvedge. I really like what 3sixteen, Rogue Territory and N&F are offering

I'm so close to pulling the trigger on a pair of IHs at SelfEdge but the only thing holding me back are the discrepancies between the two fit guides.

I should be getting them tomorrow. Once they arrive I'll measure them and compare them to the fit guides. I also measured my Uniqlo selvedge so that I could find something with a similar fit - the 3sixteens were pretty close if I were to go with BO's guide

@ Ickes
Fwiw, I've put off buying stuff from SE because I wasn't confident with their fit guides. I have a sheet of paper that I keep handy that has fit guides (from Blue Owls site) of denim I plan on buying, as well as jeans I currently own.
I guess I'll have to wait and see how the 3sixteens fit. I took into account my true waist measurement and whether or not I decide to do a cold/warm/hot soak in the future. Shrinkage will happen so sizing down didn't seem like an option

Just to give my experience - I purchased from the Tellason "Surplus" sale in December and received a pair of their JGM 5 Year Anniversary: www.tellason.com/john-graham-mellor-5-year-anniversary-jean-slim-straight-13-25-oz/They fit nicely, though I would recommend sizing down one. I wear a 36 waist from most manufacturers and am a Tellason 35, which I fortunately knew beforehand. There were some minor flaws, the biggest being the rear belt loop sewed slightly off-vertical. I also received one of their sweatshirts, which I wouldn't buy at full price but is a good deal at $50. Both were delivered within 4 days of purchasing. Overall, you can't beat their surplus sales at $50 if you generally like the Tellason fit.

ickesI still haven't had a chance to get my 3sixteens yet. They were delivered to my work address but I missed the last 3 days because my son has been sick, so I've stayed home with him. Hopefully I'll be in to work tomorrow and can do a quick measurement after I get home. I'll keep you posted

ickesok, I'm at work now and have done some measurements of the SL-120X Shadow Selvedge based on Blue Owl's measurement guide. I've also added the measurements from Self Edge and 3sixteen - the only measurement I didn't add was the inseam length since I plan on having them hemmed anyway. 3sixteen SL-120X 14.5oz Shadow Selvedge my measurements based on a size 34 tagged waist: waist: 17.5 (35") rise: 11.5 thigh: 12.5 knee: 9 cuff: 8.25 Blue Owl guide waist: 36 rise: 11.5 thigh: 12.5 knee: 8.75 cuff: 8.25 Self Edge guide waist: 35 rise: 11.5 thigh: 12.5 knee: 9.5 cuff: 8.8 3sixteen guide waist: 35 rise: not listed thigh: 12.7 knee: 9 cuff: 8.5 As you can see, there's variation across all sites, but I think BO's is closest. Haven't tried these on yet but upon first inspection it does indeed look and feel very nice. At 14.5oz it feels noticeably thick and heavy. I'm now having a hard time picturing wearing the 19oz Elephant 3's from N&F. Hope this helps.

FYI, Tellason restocked their surplus site and have both tops and bottoms available for sale. I've ben checking there regularly and it seems they restock more frequently now. Used to be one sale every 4 months or so, but they've had merchandise up there in some form since November. tellasonsurplus.bigcartel.com/

Wow! I checked back a few minutes after my last post and it was only medium tops left; I lucked out and scored the last large. Makes me think their putting things up there in quantities of 1-2 per size. I'll post back once I get my package and let you all know how things went. There are still a good range of pant sizes left ...

I've got the Topper shirt in brown selvedge on it's way. It'll be the first time I've ventured from Gustin (I don't like their work shirts). I'll let y'all know how it goes.

i just received an orange coverall jacket (cone mills white oak natural selvage) from the most recent surplus re-stock. pretty great score for $50. the only problem is that one of the pockets is sewn pretty poorly such that the bottom is fraying. the surplus info says that all items are first quality, so i shot some photos over to tellason to see what they say. i like the jacket quite a bit, but would rather have a pocket i wasn't worried about fraying over time. this has been the worst winter for me in terms of ordering clothing. almost every item has been lost, damaged, off-spec, or yet to be received due to massive delays. the only truly hassle free product has been the belt i got from @stevekas

Anybody have any experience with buying from Tellason's "crap shoot" pants? If so, what did you receive?
