Damn that was quick!
12oz flannel is amazing. Wearing anything else now feels weak. The shirts really double as a jacket in cooler weather and a great layer in the real cold weather.

How is the 12oz for kicking around the house? Way to much?

How is the 12oz for kicking around the house? Way to much? To me they are the perfect weight heading into Fall/Winter. I keep my house temp at 67-68, and find it very comfortable wearing inside. I've never really been a flannel fan, as the majority of them are lighter weight than I prefer, and are usually poor fitting and boxy. To me, the cut, and heft of the IH flannel puts them in another league. I think The Flat Head flannels look to be comparable, but they don't even come close to fitting me.

How you guys wearing your shirts, fitted or a bit lose? How do you think these heavy flannels wear better? Is there enough give to wear one on the small side? Again I'm between XL - XXL

How you guys wearing your shirts, fitted or a bit lose? How do you think these heavy flannels wear better? Is there enough give to wear one on the small side? Again I'm between XL - XXL IMO the heavy flannels wear better a bit loose and I prefer that for several reasons;
1. I don't like the look of work shirts and flannels that are fitted. I know a lot of guys prefer that look. I see it on the IH forums and on a lot of the model pics and that's cool, different strokes and all, but I prefer a bit looser of a fit. I think the fits that mkeview has on his IH flannels are perfect.
2. I use mine as a jacket (shirt jac, whatever you want to call it) so I've always got a T shirt on underneath.
3. In general I like my clothes to be comfortable yet still fit well, I don't like my clothes to be too perfect of a fit if that makes sense. I prefer straight leg fit jeans with a mid to almost low rise and shirts that fit well but still have a bit of room to move around in them.
4. IMO it's always a better bet to pick the larger size when you are in between sizes, especially with the IH UHF and HF. I have found you can get quite a bit of shrink out of these if you need to.

I'm glad I went a little bigger. I know what ickes means about too perfect. Some of my G shirts fit perfect but for pictures and not for moving or anything. I'm happy with my fit and if it shrinks a little it will still fit comfortably. Now I may get that IH waffle shirt but that neck opening. Yikes.

I completely agree the perfect fit photo size and actual life is much different.

Shirts up on the UK site. did you get a blue one? Yup! I like the way it'll look with any pair of jeans, new-well faded.
