here are some pics to help hold over those still waiting... these are my first pair of heavyweight denim and they are surprisingyl soft and comfortable. I expected wearing them to be more like wearing carpet but they just feel like pants. The details are great. printed pocket bag  Selvedge style patch. 3 of 17  Chainstitch runoff on the cuff. I went with olive thread for my pair  olive thread  The rivets have the letter "C" stamped in them  patch up close  lifetime repair  There was a swatch included. Looks like the olive green fabric that the Garrison sample Ciano posted was made from  Some fit pics. I ordered size 32 with a custom taper. Fit is perfect for me   Thanks for the great pics! Looks like a lot of people went for selvedge detail either on the coin pocket or back pocket. |

Are they softening up? Or holding stiff?

I'm concerned. I now have two USPS tracking numbers and both are en route. I don't remember ordering two pairs... Oh god, did I sleep buy jeans? I may have a problem.

Apparently I had ordered and recieved a pair of Gustin 18oz Zims a year back (according to my G account and email). I have no recollection of this. Had to search through the Zim thread here to see find any post I made about them. I guess they were to big and I sent them back. I have to many pairs. |

so my plan is one Soak no washes on this pair.
We'll see how they differ from G's J21oz which I'll wash monthly.

I guess mine may have been done but I asked for that backstrap to be added at the last minute.
Fine with me as they were nice enough to do it gratis and it's almost summer so not like I'll be wearing them much anyways.

#2 crocking up my shoelaces, just a few hours in. Getting more comfortable in the knees and thighs, thinking these are going to be pretty stretchy. I wore my 14oz Italian BxB this morning to walk the dog, and these actually feel like they breathe a little better. Might get some summer wear out of them.  |

DOh. Now your scaring me. I used the actual measurements as suggested, which for me are 33. I typically buy 32's in formal chinos (just right length) and 34's tend to be slightly long. |

No word on mine yet. I'm sure I got in early. Well past the stated 8 weeks. No big deal. I've been wearing the G J21 a lot. Great fabric. It will be interesting to see the difference.

Mine are a near perfect fit. Hoping when I do soak they don't shrink in length.
.5" will be ok.

I'm pretty much warmed up to initial soaks on all new pairs as I tire of fighting the starch. Have had a few pairs that when I finally soaked they loosened up enough to be comfortable. |
