I know I signed up for a pair of the Ciano Farmer made selvedge/style anniversary jeans in black.
But I am having trouble pulling the trigger on what denim to purchase?
I would like more information about the denim fabrics.
Black 16.oz white line selvedge and the 23.oz pink line selvedge.
Who milled the two denim fabrics and is the denim slubby or neppy in any way?
Sanforized or not?
How many other people on this forum decided to go with the black denim?

Same here (haven't received them). I believe in theory theh were supposed to be done in 6-8 weeks. Not quite sure where we are for the indigo jeans which I believe we're the first to be fully funded.

hey guys sorry for not being on the board for a while..Mike and I have been swamped!!!!,,also Mike just shot up with a shotgun our singer 112w146 double needle..yessssss..in the shop...because it would not sew right..HAAAAA. 100year old machine....no respect..BAD MIKE..BAD MIKE.....[ love TEXAS!!!!!!! ..if it doesn't work..put a 12G slug in it!!!!!] .we needed a new one anyways!!!!...Mike did make a big o hole in the back of the shop also...he could not just shoot it once,,but three time..i will take pictures and post it later...HAAAAAA....and he was sober!!!!!!that was a hell of a night..every thing that could go wrong,,went wrong.. so we will be shipping the jeans this week and continuing to next week. so here is a pic of the first 20oz indigo.... i will post pics of the first black tmr or this weekend..and any special details we did for you on this SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY EDITION. just so you know..I [ yes Ciano] sewn each pair myself and signed each pair..so I wanted this to be special for all of you.... so if you have any issues with the sewing...chew my ass out!!!!...it is all on me...HAAAAA!!!!! Mike helped me cut.....if you get shotgun pellets inside your pockets..you know it was Mike...HAAAAAA so here is the pics of the "FIRST 1 OF 17" Indigo 20oz. we had to hand stamp the numbers..the permanent ink on the leather patch..was no good...and yes Mike did the hand stamping on the leather patches...  YESSSSS!!!! a true test of quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if it stands..let me fall on IT'S grace!!!!!!!!!!....HAAAAAA               |

(avoids eye contact) The orange thread inside is typical CF construction, the grey thread on the outside has me struggling to remember whether I requested grey or olive thread. Either way they look great and I can't wait for a week or so from now when they show up, even if they'll be a little heavy for Spring/Summer (as another snowstorm rolls in this weekend). |
