Yes indeed. affect is typically an action taken upon something--effect is the result of an action. Stupid english. You know, all of this is a result of lax printing standards for several hundred years.
@scooter Could you post a close up pic? I think I'll be doing this in the future and will need to figure out which shirt/fabric I'd like.
And why can't I seem to tag you correctly?
I like how the kakishibu took to the canvas. These pictures don't quite do the color justice.
If I had to do it over, I would change one thing, though. While sunning it, I would want to do something other than hang it, or lay it out flat. The only real inconsistency is a slightly darker toned strip across the shoulders, where the shirt draped over the hanger, and a strip along the length of the sleeves, where a crease was created from hanging. It's not overtly contrasting, but it's there. I'm hoping, with a bit of wear, and some concentrated brushing to those areas, it may lighten. Time will tell. It's certainly no where near enough to make it unwearable.
As funny as it may sound, if I do another shirt, I may just build a headless, legless scarecrow with it.
Edit: BTW, I use scooter as my screen name. But, my user name is scootermcshooter(given to me by an old poker buddy). That's most likely the reason for the tagging issue.
